I did the same as Anya29, I grabbed the hireling from Candlehearth Hall brought him up there and killed him. then resurrected him and dismissed him. He didnt seem to mind the whole dying thing.
I wouldnt mind someone that is perfect for a good character to bring up there like a hired thug, thief, or murderer. Someone that you wouldnt feel bad about killing because it would make Skyrim a better place if he did die.
