***Spoiler***

Once you sleep in a bed and get the quest to decipher the dream, head to whiterun's bannered Mare and speak with
the Inn keeper to the rent the room. Once inside read the book.

The castle entrance itself is northwest of whiterun. if you take the road leading east from whiterun, head to the
T intersection that leads south to riverwood and north, take the path north. you will pass whiterun o the left
and see a windmill in the distance. before the farm there is a path to the left take it to reach the
castle entrance.

Follow the quest clues until you reach the platofrm overlooking where the drawbridge should be. The house you need
to investigate is the far back one around the corner. inside kill the Draugr, search the dead nord take the key
and read the book. head inside the Nordic ancient ruins labeled "Hjal Hall of Dead". Inside kill the Draugr, and
read the book once they are dead. directly behind the table is a lever to open a secret passageway to continue on.
Follow the halls until you reach the castle grounds. head towards the castle entrance to find it blocked off.
Around the corner centered in a Word wall is a key and a lever. pull the lever, take the key and head to the castle
entrance. The key provided you find is not for the entrance but for the Dwemer door you saw earlier down in the
castle grounds. Go inside, read the book then pull the lever. head into the Catacombs. Make your way through the
catacombs, making sure you read all the books to decipher the storyline. If you pick up a book and the quest does
not update, you missed a book previously. Make sure you read the murals as they spell out the puzzle for a room
later on to open a grate below. the order of the pillars is ass followed: Snake, Eagle, Whale. Once solved, pull
the lever on the left as you enter the room. if successfull, the grate below should open. Kill ALL the aulnati
priests. The ghosts you see along the way will not harm you or interact with you. Once you come inside the room
with the draugr waves, you must defeat them all in order to continue on.

the next puzzle is after you kill the Ghuul Lord. the order that the levers need to be pulled are set in stones
shown in the room prior, in order as you leave the room. you can also figure it out by looking directly up at the
ceiling as you enter the room and figure it out based on what stone is missing. if you still have trouble pull the
levers in this order: snake, fox, whale eagle. Continue to the basement stairwell, pull the lever to open the secret
passageway. Read the book then take the key. Open the grate to the stairs leading down into the basement.
Once in the distillery, Kill all the Draugr then head down the stairs and up a set of stairs to a back room with a
book on a table covered in blood. Kill the draugr in this room and the quest updates.

Read the book then look for the lever in the open sarcaphagus room. This opens up another sarcahpagus for you to
venture into. Avoid the traps and kill all the Draugr. You will come across a room with a sarcaphagus on the floor
and four along the way. head to the back door to find it locked and activate the draugr. kill them, find the chest
in the dark corner and obtain the key for the door. Once inside the room pull the lever and then read the book.
Kill the aulnati priest and continue back to the elbow hallway with the dragon priest banner. A hidden passageway
should open up with a gate that needs to be open. head into the alcove and look to your right, a lever for the
gate should be there. open the gate and you should enter the basementwarehouse.

continue down the causeway to the other end, coming to a desk with a bloody book. read the book and
continue into the next chamber that is dark and only a burning fire in the corner. Kill the summoned priest and
continue down the hallway. it should bring you back into a lower level of the warehouse and another bloodied book
on a table. read it and go around the corner to where you saw the dragon priest ghost. Quest should update
telling you to read the book on the sarcaphagus. read it and search for clues for a hidden passageway. ahead
should be another closed sarcaphagus lying on the ground. It activates as soon as you get close enough. Once you
kill him, there should be a set of sarcaphagus standing up next to a pile of rubble. go behind this sarcophagus
and there should be a lever to open the secret passageway where the dragon priest ghost was. Go inside and there
should be two books to read.read them both then pick up the key on the table. kill the priest who is activated
once you continue down the hallway. Open the set of double doors and defeat the still alive priest. check his body
for a diorite claw to open the puzzle door. once inside continue towards the dragon priest helm alter. If you have
not already, collect all 8 dragon priest helms and bring them to this shrine to continue on. Once all are on the
mantle a wall activates turning into a large set of doors behind it. enter these doors to venture into Rash Aul
Ghuul's world. Once inside kill the draugr and avoid the traps. Kill the Cursed Dragon found in the large chamber.
The lkast chamber should bring you to a room with a Ghuul lord sitting in a chair who activates once you enter.
once he is dead activate the chain to open the gate and more draugr are activated. continue down the stairwell
to enter the next cell. Continue on to kill more of the Draugr through the catacombs, avoiding traps and activating
levers where needed. Once you come to the largest chamber with the Behemoth inside, Kill it then head up the stairs
to the shrine to Rash Aul Ghuul. Once you inspect the statue, kill the draugr and head over the causeway to the
temple. activate the door from the lever and enter. Once you enter, you cannot escape. Kill the Ghuul Lord then enter
the stairwell behind him. Once you reach the candles, quest should update completing entering the temple, ehad down
the hallway to the left to a set of large doors to the next cell.

this is Rash Aul Ghuul's Burial Chamber. prepare now for a long fight ahead. When you are ready head down the temple
through the hallway until you reach a set of double doors. these doors will open automatically as soon as you come
close and activate the boss. once inside the chamber, the doors close and lock until the fight is over.

Boss Fight

Rash Aul Ghuul is broken up into 8 phases.

Phase 1
Very simple, 1 on 1 fight where he will periodically summon beings from the netherworld to help him. His arsenal of
summons is vast and has a huge pool of mana so do not try to drain him. Bring magic buffs and magic resistant gear
may help you get through this fight. He also casts fireball frequently with a huge hit and also does a wall of storms
with the Adkara. Once Rash Aul ghuul reaches 75% health, Phase 2 starts.

Phase 2
Rash Aul Ghuul teleports to a perch overlooking the chamber, pulling in power from the netherworld and summons in a
Thrall of Draugr. * draugr in total, kill them off to start phase 3

Phase 3
Rash Aul Ghuul Teleports back in but to the oposite side of the chamber from where you came. This is another hack and
slash phase similiar to phase 1 but he will randomly reanimate the dead to help him in his fight and also use his
arsenal of summons, spells and the adkara. Once he reaches 50% health phase 4 starts.

Phase 4
Rash Aul Ghuul Once again teleports out to a perch overlooking the chamber, pulling in power from the netherworld and
summons in 4 Dragon priests who are very familiar to the player. These 4 Dragon Priests are the same from the 8 total
from throughout Skyrim. They are only reanmimated and not as powerful without their masks, but have similiar spells
as Rash Aul Ghuul. Quickly kill them off one by one before they overwhelm you. Once these priests are killed, phase 5 begins.

Phase 5
Rash Aul Ghuul teleports back in towards the end of the chamber you came in. he has the same powers and spells as Phase 1 and
3, But randomly teleports between 6 locations through the chamber once he is hit. 4 of these locations are on perches out
of melee reach and 2 on the ground within reach. To force him out of the perches to teleport to another location, hit him
with an arrow or any other long distance capability. Once He reaches 25% health, Phase 6 begins.

Phase 6
Rash Aul Ghuul Teleports out onto a perch again, summoning in the remaining Dragon Priests. Kill them to initiate phase 7.

Phase 7
Rash Aul Ghuul teleports back in, same as phase 1 and 3. Fight him until he reaches 5%, phase 8 begins.

Phase 8
Rash Aul Ghuul will teleport to the end of the room with the throne. He will throw up a barrier and start syphoning power
from the Adkara on the table. Strike the Adkara with a melee weapon, Which will stop his syphoning, and banish him to Oblivion.
Once Rash Aul Ghuul is defeated, the doors will open up allowing the player to exit to the rear. Grab the key and read the book.
Activate the lever and head back to the hallway you came in at to find rubble blocking your way but a passageway adjacent to the
dragon priest mural leading out of the chamber.


Once you arrive back in the basement, the door behind the Dragon priest mask altar will be covered in rubble. you must make your
way bback to the Castle grounds. Once you enter the basement stairwell cell, you will meet a ghost who will escort you back to
the castle grounds. Once you reach the castle grounds he will escort you to the castle entrance. Once He arrives at the entrance
the quest will update telling you to go inside and the ghost will walk to the balcony on the other side of the wall and sit down
in the chair, guarding the castle. Go inside the castle and place the Adkara on the altar in the center of the room. It will
unlock the castle, letting you gain access to all the rooms. Once you explore the major areas of the castle, the quest will complete,
completing episode 1 and 2.
