Excellent re-texture. I like the alternate version myself. Thanks for sharing your personal work.
The only issue with this mod is the folder structure. I understand that this re-texture was originally intended for the uploader and he decided to share with the rest of us. Even so for somebody unfamiliar with modding this game it's a mess. I can't endorse this file in its current state.
For anybody having issues you need to install this mod in Skyrim/Data/Textures/Armor folders. If any of these folders don't exist then create them. The provided Dragonbone folder goes into the Armor folder. To use the alternate texture install the standard texture then place the alternate files into the standard install folder overwriting any files it asks you to.
I understand even my description could leave out some information. If you have any issues feel free to message me for help.
I have literally just spent the last four hours gathering every retexture of the dragon armors together on the nexus, looking over each one in detail and trying to determine which one I liked the best. It came down to your's and this lovely cloud retexture http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1543&navtag=file/images.php?id=1543&tab=3 and a more natural retexture http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1536&navtag=file/images.php?id=1536&tab=3
But I have finally decided to use this one here, bravo, great work.

Data/Textures/Armor/Dragonbone or Textures/Armor/Dragonbone not just Dragonbone
Yes I know I am saying this on a 2011 mod.
Could you do the same with the weapons? I mean, make them have a similar color?

I've been like minngarm...hunting all over for the perfect dragonplate retex. This looks very nice indeed, and I can't wait to try it.
