i really like this mod but there is one little thing bothering me. just a little bit north west of whiterun gate there is a tree floating in the sky. other then that this is great
it looks amazing imo but when Im outside of whiterun its too much for my computer I think, it freezes every 15 seconds for up to a minute : / its wierd because other mods which are adding trees seem to work well (like enhanced villages) Ive got Nvidia GTX 560 Ti and 32 bit system, should that be enough to handle the mod?
Hey I PM'd you regarding an issue with Whiterun Outskirts Market. It's no big deal, but there are three trees that stick right out of the giant Inn that Whiterun Outskirts Market puts there. It's just three trees to remove and with how many people use Whiterun Outskirts Market, I highly recommend making a patch/update for this.
PS- This mod goes very well with the mod Forested Skyrim!
@dondon this mod should be compatable with it,I've tested it and found no issues. @miketheratguy technicly one of the main reasons why density of trees is lower on the wilderness than in sides of the road is the fact that bethesda has put many of the random encounters such as wolves, thieves bandits and ect, those require space to fight and i wouldnt like to break gameplay, and as such i didnt put that much trees there, however I am planning to increace density and lower the one at the road.
Does this add trees to whiterun city as well? I was thinking of maybe combining this with "The autumn of whiterun" ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20335 ) which adds fall-trees in whiterun and a bit outside
I definitely appreciate the idea of this mod, but I understand, as the author said, that it's still a work in progress. I agree that there feels like a bit too much focus on putting trees near the road- It DOES feel kind of like walking through a forest as you go down the street in front of Whiterun, which is cool, but if anything I was thinking that the densest concentration of trees would be more out in the wilderness such as around streams and so forth. There ARE a lot of trees away from the road and on the tundra itself, but it seems as if they grow most heavily at roadside and just get thinner and thinner as you move into the wild.
I also noticed a few floating trees which I understand are still going to be corrected at a later time. And this is just my own personal preference but it doesn't feel like the orange aspen leaves feel quite right among all the green pines in that area.
I'm not trying to be harsh on the mod because like I said, I still like the idea and believe it will improve as you play around with it some more. It may be in early stages but I like where it's going. I'll track it and hope to see it continue.
The pictures you already uploaded are beautiful <3 Skyrim looks less harsh that way and I really like it. I hope you continue this mod even if its a lot of work, I - at least - would be very grateful!
