I have been looking for this MOD page. I downloaded this MOD in 2017, and wasn't quite sure what to expect. But whenever I load my 2017 save I appear in the air and drop down inside the prison, next to the door that leads to the bridge. It's been so long I cannot recall if this is normal. I do NOT recall how I got inside the prison, or how I started the game with this MOD in the first place, but I do recall creating my Redguard for the game.
What I thought is that the MOD made me an escaped prisoner and if the guard saw me he would come after me. So I left out the door to the bridge and never explored the prison in 2017; that is until yesterday. Wow! Awesome! I even got 2 full sets of Imperial armour, a bunch of weapons, and food!
What's bizaar is if I re-load the save file while still in the game, the guards will be gone, and the prison will be empty except for the ghosts (who don't even look like ghosts, they look like regular guards!).
Also, if I save the game from inside the Prison (or sometimes outside), and attempt to load it again from the Main Menu, Skyrim tells me the game save file is corrupt and takes me back to the game load menu. It's only when I fully exit Skyrim that I can load the game just fine (with or without the MOD activated).
Im adding this mod to then use it as a vampire hideout with my vampire followers. Ill probably change all the beds to coffins, prisoners to thralls and eat all the guards. But the cleanup you have done will make it more liveable.
The Ambriel mod, from what I can tell, really doesn't like this mod for some reason(CTD when you load into the building). Best part is I downloaded this because something was causing the interior(for the most part) of the Abandoned Prison to disappear. My games really don't like me.
I noticed when I used this mod that if you have the mod "Alternate Start - Live Another Life", That the ghost reappear and start trying to kill the guards and inmates. But other then that small thing.. they both fit into each other pretty well.

It's weird. It must be a memory thing.
