1. INFORMATION ON THE MOD
************************************************************************
The original Cavern Isles is a beautiful and unique player abode in a natural setting located just outside of Whiterun with convenient areas for crafting, merchants, and other amenities.

Like the original, Cavern Isles Sanctuary includes Navmesh and sleeping your follower, safe storage, and a complete crafting area. At this time it does not need to be purchased.

Unlike the original, Cavern Isles Sanctuary has no vampire or werewolf related items, more greenery, and three new Kajiit, each with 25k and merchandise that respawn.

If you prefer the original, I believe it will remain on NMM, but will no longer be supported.

100% of the credit for the idea and original execution go to DarkFrost5. 100% of the blame for any mistakes or changes that you don't like in this version belong to me.

Future updates will focus on increasing armory/training resources. If this mod acts up on you, please let me know. I am also interested in politely-phrased suggestions and requests, especially for the secret room development.

2. Installation

Automatic Installation: Use of Nexus Mod Manager is highly recommended.

Important notice: if you are changing from CavernIsles to CavernIslesSanctuary you MUST follow the below steps BEFORE activating this mod:
1. Remove all your personal items, exit from house (not game).
2. Save game, exit Skyrim. Uninstall CavernIsles.
3. Start game, save, exit game.
4. Download and install Cavern Isle

Manual Installation:
Option 1: Download and decompress the zip file using something like 7-Zip or WinRAR.
Place the esp file in your Skyrim Data File (usually something like Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Skyrim/Data)
Open NMM and activate by checking the box next to CavernIslesSanctuary.
Place with similar abode files.

Option 2: Do not extract file, but place zipped file into the file for NMM apps (usually User/games/skyrim), open NMM and activate.

10.August.2013 Furniture/clutter improvements/ overhaul using DLC and Nexus Mod resources, staff crafting table added, Display for Dragon Claws, Dragon Priest Masks and Elder Scrolls Added, Shower gives temporary perks, Working practice targets added.

v3.0Alt 8/29/2012 Alternative version for users of lighting mods. Ambient lighting reverted to vanilla, shadow-casting removed. Complete alternatie version to 3.0, do not install both.

V3.0 8/17/2012 Clean Dobahkiin Version. (still no load doors!)
Major overhaul and addition of a new area with lots of display racks, bookshelves, a target practice area, a fully stocked bar and den for relaxing, and hot shower thanks to a little dwarven technology mixed with Dovah ingenuity. Also a few ore veins and a very lazy bear cub.
The new area is accessed through a passageway just to the right of the smelter.
The main room has also been overhauled:
-Underwater mining removed until I can figure out what magic allowed it to begin with.
-Bookshelves fixed..no more falling books
-Lights adjusted to flow better with outside lighting/weather, and appear more natural
-Waterspray/smoke effects added for realism.
-A few more food items in the Khajit garden and a cooking spit.
-Underwater passage/former incomplete room removed.
-Removed a few cheat items (grab them from the old version if you want to keep them!)
-Other minor changes to improve appearance.

This is a very large overhaul, so if you choose to update, you will need to remove your belongings, or you may loose them. (I hope you will find the new room worth the trouble!)

Known issues: It does take a few seconds to load the first time, and you may experience a brief lag when first entering as all the items load. This is the price for avoiding load doors.

V 2.0 6/5/2012 Less Chatty Kajiit Version
Renamed file to improve readability of versions in NMM. This will require a you to remove all belongings and exit the mod before reinstalling.
I apologize for the inconvenience. It is my hope that this change will benefit you by making the mod versions appear in NMM.

Changes:
-Weapons racks increased to 8
-Kajiit Merchants have less hawking dialogue
-NAvmesh improved, resulting in smaller file size and smoother NPC behavior.
-Added dynamic sunlight/shadows (vanilla), based on DarkFrost5's personal version.
-Added leeks to the Kajiit caravan area, other minor flora additions and general fixes.

CavernIslesSanctuary is based off of CavernIsles 2.1 by DarkFrost5.
This mode is a continuation of DarkFrost5's CavernIsles,which will no longer be supported.

4. Conflicts, Known Issues, and Troubleshooting

No known conflicts.
Mods that affect the screenshots and enhance this mod include:
W.A.T.E.R (Medium Resolution) by Optic Shooter
Static Mesh Improvement Mod by Brumbeck
Rugged Rocks by Sixesthrice
Skyrim Flora Overhaul by Vurt

Known Issues:
Troll skull falls randomly by door. This is a little glitch from the original mod that I've grown attached to and have no plans to alter.
The underwater escape door is functional. If your follower does not immediately appear, use the wait function to wait an hour and you should all be back together.
Loading since 3.0 takes a couple seconds more, and you may find a lag the first minute upon entering. This is the price for twice the size and no loading between rooms.
