I had been looking for a player abode with two mannequins for a while. Most of the player homes out there had either none or a lot. Even the ones that had what I needed weren't updated in months or years (except for posts and images). I'm glad you were able to come back after 3 years and update this mod.
I have not touched Skyrim for more than two years, and thus I didn't really have a reason to browse the Nexus or check my mods pages. And what do I see once I visit this site again a few days ago? My little mod has faithfully gathered endorsements and appreciative comments over the years
Seriously guys, I am happy to see that y'all like what I created. It gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling.
I updated the mod again, and fixed some of the issues that were still present. Companions will now enter Sylvanheim with you, I finally turned around that damn chest by the enchanting table, and I moved the lantern in the workshop out of the way. Also, I picked up some of the requests and suggestions that were made: There is now a version without mannequins (i don't really like the damn things myself) and a version with a Shrine of Kynareth. I felt Kynareth was the most fitting of the Divines. Sorry to those whose requests I have not fulfilled.
So, check our the new versions and the complete changelog.
I was looking for a house that was small and hidden. All I found was houses that were massive, obvious to find, immersion breaking, or just felt cold and un-inviting. Your mod truly was perfect for what I wanted. It has everything I need, is small, has a believable hidden entrance, feels cozy, and a central location on the map. One thing I would say would be in the blacksmith area instead of having the lantern hang, have it on a surface. I feel like I am going to bonk my head on it haha. Great mod! I feel it has a better feel than the standard games houses, if you want a great Immersive house and are reading this, Give Sylvanheim A Try!!!! You won't regret it.
This is a brilliant home; I love it so much. It is pretty-much perfect for my weather witch character.
The only thing I would add is one, maybe two, more unlabelled containers for storing that misc junk that doesn't fall into one of the already labelled containers.
For a first mod, this is excellent. Keep up the good work.
This really turned out to be great. I decided to find a new house mod after using the same one for a while but I didn't want something extreme. My old one was really simple and small but it lacked necessities. When I seen this I knew I'd like it. It fits perfectly with the way I play and my own personal style. All the things you need, chests, crafting, bed and water. Which is fantastic for me because I have a mod in which I can fill up water bottles. (Basic needs mod) And Wick was an ingenious addition. I would like to see a shrine in it, though. Something to shake the witbane off. (If there is one, let me know. I didn't see it.)
