    Hey man. Thanks for making a proper Rorikstead mod finally!

    walls would make sense here (not like in falkreath) Open field, they are on a hill and vulnerable to every banditgroup that wants to make a quick heist.
    ehrm, if you do so, please be sure to involve that hill on the last picture behind the village for a tower (because if would not do this, enemies could easily put some machinery, like a catapult with archers up there and shoot the village) and then you cant put the walls between the rock formations !!

      An earthworks would be more likely than a wall. Wooden pallisade walls with an earthen bank behind them. Like a lot of the defenses at bandit camps like Halted Stream.

    Behold: a compatibility patch I made between this mod and DovKroniid Redoubt.
    Published - addresses most of the reported problems.

    Patches this mod to DovKroniid Redoubt and fixes issues. Also suitable as standalone. Adds walls, caravan, defending forces!

    hey man I liked the mod but most of the buildings added only show the doors, including the tower. I tried to remove and load it again it worked until I came out of the tower and the buildings were gone again.

    It's a pity that the author appears to have abandoned this mod in an unfinished state. It had a lot of potential, but as it stands it has NPC traders with empty shops and no dialogue, the LOD problem that shalani talks about remains unfixed, and I have to agree with Dahveed about the northern tower, which is far too big for a small farming village. Also, how are the guards supposed to get onto the walkway of the northern gate when there are no steps?

    I'd recommend trying Ench's Enhanced Rorikstead instead. It's not as elaborate, but it all works properly, and has a blacksmith merchant. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12800

    Since I don't have permission, I cannot send you the file; however, the fix is simple.

    Make a side note of the major items that are invisible in game. Exit the game.
    In the CK, make sure you have this mod selected as the active mod.
    Go to the Rorikstead cells in Tamriel worldspace. (they should have * next to them)
    Double click on the houses and towers that are invisible (or just look at all of them).
    If they have the "is full LOD" box checked, uncheck the box.
    When you have unchecked all of the items, save.
    You may need to change the name of the mod in the data folder ( I just added "fixed" to the end of the mod name).
    Make sure the mod is loaded and check in game - the items should be appearing now.

    NOTE: you cannot upload your fix to anywhere without hfreeman's permission.

    @shalani, any way you can send me your modified copy, or at least walk me through how you corrected the full LOD issue on disappearing buildings?

    OK, I went into your mod and looked in the CK. The reason buildings and imperial towers are not showing is definitely because "Is full LOD" is checked on them.

    In fact, I made a modified copy of your mod - the only thing I changed was setting all the buildings and tower pieces to "is full LOD" checkbox empty, and everything is showing up just fine in the game. Should take you like 10 minutes to fix
