My problem is that even with all these houses, Constance Michel won't let me adopt a children because "I don't own a house".Even if I try adopting other children like Sofia in Windhelm, they never give me the option of selecting a house to put them.
i am hoping you still monitor comments as i have a question, i get the dialog to buy or upgrade to childrens bedrooms in all houses n it has ..... where the amount is, i buy it n it does take out the cash from inventory but it does not give me the childrens bedrooms at all in this....the only way i get kids rooms is if i change the house to one that has one built in but in this playthrough i am not updating houses so i can check out some modded new houses n keep these as they are but i want the childs room, has anyone else had this problem? i did not see any coments about that here.... is there a patch or can there b made a patch to get the kids room?? help please!! Thank you so much for this mod! My game glitched pretty badly, making it so the dialogue option to buy ANY house is unavailable. I've tried new characters, removing any mods that I thought would be causing the issue but found no solution until now.
Thanks so much for this mod. I have spent over 500 hours in Skyrim and decided to play back through with a 3rd character. But this time even after satisfying the requirements to buy Breezehome, Honeyside, & Hjerim the stewards never offered the dialogue - even when they have the quest marker over their head for it. I'm sure it is a mod that broke Skyrim this but I can't figure out which mod; even after hours and hours of testing.Regardless, this mod resolved this issue for me.
TIPS FOR OTHERS: If you have mods that alter your homes, move this mod BEFORE those mods in the load order and it should work fine. I have tested this with Bert's Breezehome as well as Honeyside and Hjerim mods which I used since I couldn't buy them - they all still have work for me. --NOTE: I have not tested moving adopted kids in but my follower are no problem.
I had a problem with getting Honeyside and so I downloaded this and it worked. The problem is the steward won't give me the options to change anything and the upgrades this mod gives are everything excluding the child bedroom of course so unless its fixed so the steward gives me options to change (which I doubt since it hasn't been upgraded since 2012) it is unusable to me
It's cool to have access to the houses but you don't have any keys and when you try to adopt kids, they think you don't have a home. After deactivating the mod, the houses are still open and I can't purchase them.
