After 9 fun years of development, I've decided to retire Sacred 2 Enhanced Edition. It's not perfect, but it's a far cry from the buggy official release and something I can be relatively proud of.
With no further updates this means others can build their own mods using EE as a base, following the permissions guidelines (make patches or updates but don't just yoink the whole thing and pass it off as yours, and no monetization).
Hello, after installing the Challenge Mode, my health regeneration stopped working. Is this intentional? Where can I see what changes this mod brings? I noticed there's a 'balance' text document in the mod; perhaps you could give me some guidance on what changes I should make to get health regeneration working again. Also, I'm not sure what other features might have stopped working. I wouldn't want to lose existing game features; maybe making them more challenging without disabling them would be more appropriate
is anyone able to host password protected online multiplayer lobbies with this mod+cm patch ? everytime i try to join my friends lobby or he join mine we get an error about incorrect network info. not sure what to do
Can I use Vanilla Drops for Community Patch 1.60 with this mod? I know that in 2019 you've said it won't work, but I have it in my load order at the moment over the EE and it seems to work fine? Did something change? I do not want the fan made items in my game, but everything else is good.
Also, one more question. I played Sacred 2 back when it was current, just recently picked up steam version. What does this line from the notes mean?
Selection of normal/magic/rare items is more varied, and item appearance, quality, rarity are better matched. Some unused Ascaron designs are activated as well.
Have you changed how certain armor looks and have you taken any appearances out of the game fully?

Weapons on the other hand had a lot of unused designs just sitting there. Matching the appearance, quality, and rarity means just that. In the vanilla game you could find hammers that were clearly made of wood but had a "steel" material assigned, and placed in the "rare" category. Or a plain sword would be assigned the "elvensteel" material (highest damage) but still placed in the "magic" category. I've reviewed all the items. Now, if the sword design is a rusted piece of junk it will be assigned the "iron" material (lowest quality) and placed in the junk-tier swords, and so on...
Another thing I noticed while playing through, bosses seem to be much, much harder on silver than what I remember, to the point of where in gear where it was previously fairly easy to kill them they now two shot me to the point that potions can't keep up (example dark seraphim), is this an intentional change?
Im not sure why but the HUD sometimes disappears permanently after opening the Map and I have no other mods running alongside EE. Anyone have any idea why?
Unfortunately it is completely normal. Nobody has fixed the bug yet, not even the developers themselves. So it seems to be a very difficult problem to find that no one has wanted to put time into it :D

hello, first off Thank you for your work and mods. But After installing EE, ive notice my game is oddly quite when the camera is at max distance. I must Zoom my Camera to the minimum distance to hear any type of Sound effects or Dialogue / chatter.

Second, I am having the classical UI disappearing after opening the map bug.
I have the required community fix installed, EE on top of that with the EE portrait overhaul and music modules.
I am also using Alternate Hairstyles, but I'm using the EE friendly version.
I've tried the old trick of opening and closing the map repeatedly, but only saving and quitting will bring it back.
