Thanks for downloading Balancing Act.
QUICK LIST OF CHANGES
- Duration of "colonist/guest put to death" and "prisoner sold" thoughts
- Duration of parasitic/mechanite infections
- Opinions decreasing to to ugliness/disfigurement of colonists
- Recruitment & animal training/taming is now a touch easier
- Converting steel to components now earns you more components. You also now receive more artillery shells from production.
- Trader ships will now arrive more frequently
- Various others, described below
IN-DEPTH LIST OF CHANGES
- "Put to death/organ harvested" thoughts now last 3-5 days depending on what was done.
- Mechanite infections now last 1-2 weeks as opposed to multiple months.
- Ugliness now only causes a -15 opinion hit, and disfigurement only -5.
- Parasite infections now only take four treatments before they end.
- Recruitment/taming now has a base 15% chance of working out as opposed to 1%.
- You now get 15 components from 30 steel.
- You now get 5 artillery shells from production.
- Trade ship base frequency has been raised from 3% to 10%.
- Taming and recruiting are now much easier.
- The moisture pump now works faster. The radius has also been slightly bumped.

HOW TO INSTALL
1) Unzip the mod - use WinRAR, 7Zip, or the stock archive opener.
2) Move it into your Rimworld mods directory.
3) Launch the game, open the Mods menu, and click the X next to my mod to enable it. Make sure it is switched to a checkmark before closing the Mods menu. Be sure to keep it near the top of the list.
4) You're finished! Enjoy the mod!
