This is the greatest thing ever, as far as Oblivion graphics is concerned!  I am fairly happy with the vanilla oblivion graphics, but the sickly green glow has been driving me crazy forever.  Thank you so much!!!!

Thank you very much for this small, yet amazing mod! This was just what I was looking for, as I really did not like the sick-green color that the original spell had. The torch one feels much warmer and a bit friendlier!

Doesn't work for me. I installed red version and light spell is still vanilla. When I load the game where I already have this spell active, then and only then it is of right colour. But as soon as I recast it in-game, it goes back to vanilla.
I've tried with and without merging this into bashed patch.
I opened my loadorder with TES edit and mod overwrites vanilla files correctly with correct RGB code and nothing overwrites it after. But it still doesn't work.
    I don't know...

Edit: Turns out I've been using AV Latta Magicka which already has this option through LINK menu. So whenever I cast light spell, it asks AV Latte first about which colour it should be, ignoring this little mod.

Will it also work if the light spell has been placed on an item?

Perfect. The 'dimmer white' option is spot on!

Installed via Vortex. Selected 'Dimmer White' from the Plugins tab.

AMAZING mod, exactly what the doctor ordered. HDR is *almost* usable in Oblivion except for the retina searing nuclear brightness from the Light spell. The "dimmer white" version provides the perfect amount of light.

Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you !
My eyes no longer bleed when I use the light spell.
I really like the "torch" colored variation. The warm golden light is especially nice for reducing glare and eye strain.
