as for cpt. Sylvan's stuff, it'd be awesome if you could just retexture the mythril armor, sorta like blend mythril and chainmail, cause chainmail is awesome-looking, and mythril has the style...etc.
one more thing: can these weapons be enchanted? i've yet to find out...

I have a problem.... i have downloaded those sword... GREAT but if i'm playing.. i see them... but when i'm on my main page (where all you stuuf is) i dont see them :S
And i have downloaded armor... and when i wear them i don't see them... my character is invisible (that doesnt belong so)
When i downloaded a file, do i need to install oblivion new?
Nice mod, can't wait to try them out on the guards... er, I mean try them out in the wild, yeah, that's it. Katanas rule. It would be nice if you could put a quest to earn some of the katanas, especially the emperor dai-katana.
really nice mod ! i really want to use them...but only can "steal" them cause they´re marked as stolen !?!? just entered CRT with martin..beginning at the MQ.
I'm afraid you have made a dirty mod. i am not sure wether it is just me but when i run your mod not only the chest in cloud ruler temple changes but every chest in the entire game of the same type now contains the katanas you have made. but apart from that this is a very nice mod "> thumbs up.
dunmerman you got anymore e-skills? do you spend all day reading about swords or something? go buy a real one instead, i personally like they katanas more cause they look good ">
The katana and longsword are two different styles of swords. The longswords blade was completely hard-edged which made it prone to chipping after coming into contact with armor. The katana is forged in a much more practical way, the blade is hard-edged only in the center and back and the blade itself was soft-edged which caused the blade to dull after coming into contact with armor instead of chipping or breaking. A longsword could be chipped or broken and would have cost alot to repair whereas a katana would need only be resharpened. Also, the blade on katanas were folded steel not full steel. Also, katanas could cut through a full suit of iron plate armor and keep on going through the target. It could also cut through steel but to a lesser extent. All in all, a katana was much better at cutting through armor but a longsword was much better at stabbing. Overall, I say katanas are more proficiently forged and are more practical for taking down the enemy as one slash could dismember a foe.
