That's not what Nefertiti looked like... then or now. The b&w photo is of a mummy known as "elder woman" found in the tomb KV35. At the time, it was thought that this Elder Woman could be Nefertiti's mother, and the other female mummy present, "younger woman" could be Nefertiti.
More recently, facial reconstruction was done for another mummy found nearby in the Valley of Kings. This mummy had been vandalized as well, with half its face missing. The forensic reconstruction of the mummy's face turned out to match the face on the one sculpture of the queen we have.
Jeez, whoever mummified her... made her look really creepy... sticking her finger in her neck... oh, eh, sorry moderators... eh... this'll be deleted, I know it... say yes if you agree with me, moderator who is watching this thread (if there is one).
