    Been playing for 30 hours and have only come across two gates, and one was the MQ in Kvatch lmao. Hopefully I can disable this mid save, because I would like more than two sigil stones in 30 hours. Also, Dremora war parties do NOT exist. Maybe they do after 60 hours, who knows.

    Not noticing any actual effect from this mod. Same amounts of random gates, same random bunch of critters hanging outside them. No war parties or any such observed.

    I suggest using Oblivion Time with this mod (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=185 for more realism if you like, the only problem with this mod is that I believe it doesnt work with Old Characters u can still play them but i dont think the time works with it, so you may have to create a new character, or search for Real-Time or Oblivion Real time, if this one doesnt work for you.

    That's easy with console command. Set timescale to 2 for 2x time and set timescale to 1 for 1x time. Problem is time only passes when you sleep for the most part. You can get way too much done way too quick. Travel takes around 4 minutes to 9 minutes. Instead of 20 or 30. And you can do quests like imperial corruption entirely in one day. IE Talk to the guy at 7:45 by breaking into his house. Set off the quest at 8:00 am by talking to jensine. Then rush back and catch ruslan before he goes into his friends house and at 8:05. And he will basically go right away and talk to the watch captain. Though you have to actually hold him back till 8:20. Or else he will go talk to the guard in a secured location. So you just keep bothering him with time speeded back up. Then phineas will come down out of the guard tower at 8:20 and the complaint will be registered. Then he'll hang around him till his friend comes and complains. Then you can catch the guard before he goes off to lunch and have the guy arrested by 10 or 11 am on the first day. But if ruslan makes it into his friends house he'll stick to his talk to his friend all morning testify tomorrow.
    You can also get out of the starter dungeon at 1:15 am and finish all the first batch of thieves guild quests by 3 am.

    This should make the main quest a bit more important. Instead of being able to finish every other quest in the game without the world being overrun, you better hurry up now, or close some gates!


    No that's why oblvion fails so badly compared to the others in the series. They are very bad at being a taskmasker. The original games you would prepare as a task. Then do as a task. Oblivion turns that into a no win situation. If you wait till 25 to finish quests it makes the main quest much much harder with the hit points damage scaling. If you do it quickly it doesn't matter. Every good item by the time your sufficient level to get a good item you don't need it. It's already replaced by a capped real skill. Making the preparation and the doing nothing but a less than zero sum game. The original daggerfall the guilds and daedric items became preparation. You needed to do them to make the main quest easier or even POSSIBLE. Now you just pull your hair out no matter what you do. If you start the main quest at 5 you do so much damage on the mob scale and all the guards and helpers are so high level compared to the mobs it's difficult to skill and level during it, as well as control other skills going ballistic in value like mercantile and acrobatics. If you start it 10 it's less of a problem. 15 seems to be the sweet spot.
    But really the game mechanics and tasks and quests are just so much fail as they become a to do list of nonsense. Let me wait till 25 to get a good ring from that quest with 10 blade instead of 6 but by the time I'm 25 I have 100 blade skill anyway.

    Does anyone know why this mod installs replacement meshes for markerx.nif and characters/_male/skeleton.nif? I don't see why any models would need to be replaced in order to accomplish what this mod's description says this mod is supposed to do.

    Why add pictures? The mod doesnt change any textures or anything, therefore, your adding pictures suggestion is invalid and a complete failure. ^_^

    Um, how long does it take for the gates to start opening? Been playing a while but no gates are opening
