    Found the Valermos sword on complete accident in a Ayleid ruin while looking for a statue, are they supposed to be randomly generated or do they have fixed locations?

    Pretty s#*! mod so far, only found one of the new weapons after a few hours of searching. Turns out the authour doesn't understand the difference between West and South-East. The War Brand or whatever it's called is located in a hidden rock directly SE of Cheyendhal, inbetween two oblivion gates by a tree.

    The second item, the Mauler doesn't even appear. Every single one of these quests/tasks are just "search in a location no one ever checks", completely lazy. The lore for each book is basically "Person was pretty tough, had a weapon, dropped it here, gone for decades, here's some obscure hints."

    Awful, truly awful.

      You can always use TES4Edit and look up what cell they are in so you can get a rough idea of where it is without resorting to clear cheating if that's your thing. Or use TES4Edit to put the weapons wherever you want.

      I like these mods not to actively hunt them, but whenever i randomly come across them. I doubt I'll find all the weapons either.

      I like how much you're triggered by that you need to SEARCH weapons yourself, wihtout map markers, Nottakeme. That pressX2win players.

      @DonProtein That clearly isn't the problem here and you know it, no, the issue is the bad placement(s) of the items vs the sometimes unreliable hints and clues in reference to their said placements.

    This is a mod I cannot like.
    It has several problems, meaning that the ''The ghostly mouth moves, but you cannot tell what it says'' message tends to ovverride many mod messages and ends up completely breaking them.
    As of now, this mod is too broken to be put in the game without killing other mods.
    It has a nice concept, but it desperately needs fixes.

    Really fun mod. There are no map markers or quest notes which made this type of "quest" feel more real. Just as if it were real, you can choose which weapons you want to track down. I chose to try for them all and pursuing most of them down was fun. There were 2 that I had to locate using the CS because I couldn't figure out the clues and there was one that, even having figured out the clue, I would never have found because it was far up in the mountains on a corpse half-hidden under a boulder. While that is also realistic, it was a bit frustrating. But overall, I really enjoyed this. For those of you searching, be aware that a couple of the item locations conflicted with the corresponding Unique Landscapes mod and 1 conflicted with UL *and* Archfiend mod

    Duplicating my comment from Myths and Legends 2 Update mod (which is basically update for this one posted as separate mod for some reason).

    Amazing weapon mod that does more than just add cool looking endgame weapons, 10/10. Sadly it seems it is unfinished and will be this way forever - I got this notion from digging through it with modding tools. Apparently there was quest planned for Black Legion Axe, but it never made it to any of the release versions except for quest item tag on axe and 0 weight as for many other quest items + some other clues that would suggest there were further plans. Seeing authors last activity on mod, taking into account that it's 2018 (it's been 10 years since last update, woah) and oblivion is not really known for most active modding community anymore - it's safe to assume it's the final version we will get. I wish we got some info about what was planned for mod if anything, just for posterity.

    Having dug around a bit with tes4edit I've noticed there are still quite some ITM records and undeleted references, not sure if they are intended and needed or not.

    Besides that I would suggest using tes4edit to remove quest item flag from Black Legion Axe (an if you'd like putting some weight on it instead) if you are likely to be pissed that it's stuck in your bags to save posting many angryletters in comments.

    For ppl who can't read or explore a bit and want weapons right here and right now - use console and type "coc mal" without quote marks, although I warned you - searching for these weapons is half the fun and having found all of them I can guarantee it's not impossible or extremely hard.

    Just for f**ks sake stop crying that you can't find a weapon, they are really easy to find if you read the books and put some brain processing into it. Some of them are prone to getting slightly displaced (mostly ones that just lie out there in the world) due to havok physics, so just f**king look around a bit before posting. Another tip - if you are that desperate just reduce grass draw distance to 0 in game settings temporarily and it will make searching on the ground a joke. And if everything fails you can just take the easy route - I've already mentioned console command.

      me too, is it the blade of loss? i found the blade of light, the counterpart of it but i can't find the blade of loss, so i gave up on it, now i can't find the mace of the khajeet and herleaf... T_T

      I searched like 3 alyeid ruins that were east of skingrad and right above elsweyr but im still not finding it. Maybe since he got the directions for warbrand mixed up he got these directions mixed too. Im going to search west of skingrad now.

    Volume 1. First Weapon. I'm at the Green runesstone where the book lead me to and have searched all around it but no War Brand. Have I loaded the mod wrong or am I just being stupid and not looking in the right place?
    EDIT: Got it. Looking in the right place, just not looking hard enough! Awesome mod.

    Alright so this mod has completely broken my game. Somehow it causes npcs to say all the time "The ghosts mouth moves but you cannot tell what he says" this has happened to many npcs in mods and broken those mods. I know for a fact its not those mods since i looked around and apparently this mod is the one that causes that. The massive problem however is no one knows how to fix it. Using clean saves and disabling and even deleting the mod doesnt help, it then makes the npcs say i have no greeting. This mod has completely broken basicaly my entire game and no one seems to know how to fix it. Sancre Tor, Kvatch Rebuilt, Knights Revelation and many more all ruined to unplayability because of a problem in this mod that I have never had with any other mod ever. If anyone knows a fix thatd be great.

    Information is too vague for some of these hunts.
    You have to remember that this is a scavenger or treasure hunt, not remapping Oblivion.

    Some of these are near impossible due to such vague terms and terrible English.
