This is a great mod, But someone has to change the way npcs react when they hate you, Its rediculous they invis and run like chickens with there heads cut off.
I like this mod. It makes the persuasion more like how it is in Morrowind. Also, to quote the great alchemist, Nondrick the Fish-Faced, "If I know this guy hates jokes, why should every 4th thing out of my mouth be a joke?"
It still bothers me how you can make the whole minigame and skill pointless by simply increasing your Illusion skill to at least 25(or better yet, make Illusion one of your Main skills), and creating a 100 potency, 2-3 second long target charm spell, it will be only Aprentice level, and you can easily use it before initiating conversation.
I am still trying this though, it gets boring to simply charm every person I meet into submission, plus I'd rather have permanent effects to temporary ones.
Hello everyone...if you are looking to tone down how quickly your speechcraft skill advances with this mod, try the following:
1) Get the TES 4 CS 2) Under tabs, go to Character/Quests area 3) Find the "Persuasion" (without quotes) quest on the left hand side under EditorID 4) Go to the "Quest Stages" button at the top and an column called "Index" will appear on the left...find number 25 and click on it 5) You will see the "Result Script" window in the upper right hand corner of the display...look for the line "set Persuasion.scUse to Persuasion.scUse + 1.2" THIS IS THE CODE THAT AFFECTS SPEECHCRAFT LEVELING!!!!! 6) I have changed the number from 1.2 to 0.03 and it works quite well with the slow leveling modifications I'm running. 7) Save, exit, and enjoy!
Also, it seems that my speechcraft leveling is independent from the rest of my attributes and does not affect my overall level advancement...not 100% sure of this, but this is what it looks like.
This mod makes the speechcraft stuff SOOOOOO much more usable and "realistic".....thanks for the mod!
Oblivion Mod Manager show 3 conflicts with the Unoffical Oblivion Patch.esp in "Record Group (Fact)" FightersGuild, MageGuild and DarkBrotherhood; as i'm not expert in modding can somebody clarify the nature of the conflict? should i care?

Hard to do when low skill but one thing that needs fixing is how NPCs will attack you for repeatedly trying to gain favor with them when disposition falls too low.
I had the shopkeeper of The Main Ingredient attack me for trying to start a conversation with him 3 times in a row. I ran out into the street and a guard killed him.
I immediately went into his shop and cleared everything. It is funny how a "hired guard" from TIE mod still guards the place day and night, and people walk into the store.
His naked Robert's body, body, still lays in the street.
