I just noticed the 20% more magicka required. Will this mod conflicts the one I have, which modifies all my spells' magicka requirement be cut in half? I agree that the shock effect looks like a sneeze and I'd be willing to change it. I'm just on the fence whether if your mod conflicts with other mods that adjusts magicka requirements. Thanks for the reply in advance.
Mod creator here. Attention asshat that just posted: The video is a demo of the lightning strike component of the mod, which if you weren't such an angry douchebag, you might have noticed by the filename being "lightning strikes.avi".
To others that posted courteously asking for a video of the lighting bolt, I would just direct you to the screenshots. I'm sorry I don't have anything better at present--perhaps later. I did add a youtube link to the video for your convenience, though.
I do wish the vid had footage of a shock spell in action, but it's still pretty sweet. The horse is like wtf just happened!! I'll just download and see for myself
there is some way to make more bolts ?? like six or seven bolts at the same time ?? and about the after hit bolts ?? i don't see it none ... there is a way to make them ??

i didn't mean to bump this old mod by changing the description the other day, but this new video was exactly what it needed all along to really show how neat the lightning strikes mod is. it's about 11MB encoded with Divx plus MP3 audio. i spent a lot of time on it, so lemme know what you think!
i increased the magicka cost because it was more pratical to balance it that way than say...change the damage of every spell in the game (and that wouldn't affect any mod that added shock damage spells). sure, i would have liked to balance it with decreased damage, but it just wasn't happening.
