When I installed this and the balanced loot one, my game immediately ctd'd when I launched through m02 when it didn't before. Installed through m02 by dragging and clicking. Then I tried removing them and installing the way the description asked by extracting to the data file, and that didn't work either. Even after removing the esp files, my game still won't finish launching anymore, always crashing during the loading screens at the beginning (on steamOS/Linux)
EDIT- Fixed. I just had to run loot. I feel dumb. I thought I had it all in the right order but I guess I didn't. Works fine now 🥲
Hello, again :) Which difficult level do you recommend playing with this mod and balanced NPC? I started today at 75%. The tutotial was interesting, almost all easy but the goblin mage killed me once. After that I died to a mudcrag also(Was low life) and had to run from a guy with a hammer(I had no chances) until he stopped running. But I don't intend lowering the difficult level, just increase if you recommend that.
Hello, nice work dude, but I have, maybe, a problem, I don't know if it is a problem at all. Let's see some images to understand.

Like you can see, those two archives, DLCThievesDen and DLCBattlehornCastle are in orange, is that a problem? I can solve that changing the load order of DLCThieven with DLCBattle BUT, if I do that, the other mod from you gets this problem like you can see in the next picture.
Conflicts with the Unofficial Oblivion Patch and reverts to Vanilla are probably intentional for the different Goblins (UOP sets their Fatigue to 18 and this mod reverts it to the Vanilla 135), but in the Balanced Creatures - DLC.esp there is a conflict for "1300E337 DLCBattlehornLich" that I am not sure about. The patch sets the "No Low Level Processing" flag and there is a conflict for the "NIFT - Model List Textures". Thank you for the mod!
Okay. Thank you for the answer! I thought I'd better ask here and under your Balanced NPC Level Cap mod, since they both list the UOP as a requirement and I thought that maybe these fixes were excluded on purpose or something. Thank you again for your mods! :)
Hi, is there any alternative of this mod without the unoficial patch ? Because I'm using another unoficial french patch. ( https://oblimods.wiwiland.net/spip.php?article11 )
Thank you.
Edit: francesco's mod do the same thing than this mod ?
Well, if you thought you should have all the DLCs, as PushTheWinButton thought, when he wrote:
However, you realize, that you don't have them and wonder why. Here may be why and how to get it easily:
Even if you have the GOTY (Game of the Year) Edition from Steam, it doesn't contain those DLC's. And even if you heard some time ago, that they were no longer available from Bethesda and so never bothered with it, as I had, but now I actually cared and searched a bit what's truely the case, because I wanted to install this mod and not miss on anything. And here's what I figured out.
Even if you can't get the individual DLC's anymore as standalone, there is also a GOTY Deluxe available and this version, contains them all. Even if they are not officially called like people call them, they have the DLC files by these names. Now, if it may be too expensive on Steam (19,99 EUR here at the moment), GOG may have this version cheapier (I just got it for 3,99 EUR - a nobrainer). If you now think "But I don't want the GOG version, it's harder to mod"... Don't worry!. Install the GOG version, and just copy the missing .esp & .bsa files, from the GOG installation over to your Steam installation, and mark them in the Data files of the Oblivion Launcher. Done! Now you can delete the GOG version again.
Remember, to install/activate DLC files also for other modules already installed, like from the Unofficial DLC Patches, which you may have missing in your previous mod setup.
They shouldn’t be selling the non-deluxe version as far as I’m concerned, because it’s tricked many people into buying the game twice.
Why would you not just play your GOG version, though? It’s better, since it’s got no DRM and comes pre-patched with the 4GB patch. It’s probably easier to mod than the Steam version, if anything.
Yeah, I removed Oblivion GOTY from my library & replaced it with a legit key for GOTY Deluxe. That fixed it for me. Wasn't impressed at all. Bethesda are lazy & ignorant, as always. Hey Todd, if you're reading this, you guys suck.
I think there is a bug with Swamp Troll (0000BED2) in Swampy Cave, I did the quest at level 22 and all of the trolls were level 6 with 78 health. It seems too easy to be the intended effect.
Sorry, I know this is a big/unnecessary ask, but is there any way to use this mod without any of the official DLC packs? I own all of the DLCs but I want to go back to March 20, 2006 and experience the game without any DLC. Thank you for your time :)
Is it just me or mid-to-high tier creatures seem to have quite high health bar? As a lv 13 archer, if I meet two mountain lions in a cave and manage to only put one sneak attack (which is usually the case with caves, since I can't put much distance between myself and the enemies to stay hidden) my only chance of winning the fight is either spam potions or find a high spot enemies can't reach me.
