Are the original Classic Sword Replacers and vanilla weapons shiny?
Don't know which version to pick, I'd like it to fit the best into the game and not to stand out.

The original CSR are shiny, whilst vanilla weapons are not. I personally use the non-shiny, as they are still shiny, but not to a mirror-polished degree.

CSR has always been one of the mods I can't go without, so I'm glad to see it expanded. Would it be a quick/easy job replacing the blade texture on the Ebony swords to have the texture of the steel one or something similarly colored like a normal blade, while keeping the handle and everything else the same? I've been thinking about doing it recently but editing textures is something I'm not familiar with.

Sorry for the lateness of the reply, but yeah, that would be easy enough. I can have it uploaded by today.

And done, hope you like them

Awesome expansion to great mod. Lots more immersive than those ridiculous vanilla designs.

I've downloaded the latest version but I still see all the swords as purple or black. Is there any specific load order I should mind? I don't have any other replacers for weapons.

Do you have the original Classic Sword Replacer mod installed? This mod needs textures from original CSR to work properly.

Yes, like BastetGoauld said, you need the original Classic Sword replacer mod, or at least the textures from it, found here http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/11451/?

Doesn't work - I have purple meshes without texture (original CSR is installed and works perfectly). Looks like the meshes can't recognize their textures. I opened .nif files in Nifscope and tried to change texture paths, but any textures didn't show up.
Another issue I found with Ebony dagger and shortsword - they had texture paths leading to the textures used for steel weapons.

That's very sad. I like these models, especially for Ebony weapons, and want to have them in my game...

I'll have a look and see if I can't figure it out. Did you try the shiny or non-shiny version?

      I used shiny version.
Hope you'll be able to fix it.

Alright, I think I've fixed the problem, and have updated the file.
      Hopefully, it'll work this time

Yes, it works now... almost. Ebony, Steel and Iron are fine (and look beautiful! ), but I noticed texture missing for silver dagger's and sword's grips.

Ahh, completely forgot about adding that texture, sorry! I've added an update to the files section.
