Handheld and wall torches are working for me, but for basic streetlamps, I can only see the smoke from inside of buildings with Immersive Interiors. Any clue as to what might be happening? Thanks for the great mod either way

I uploaded a Wrye Bash BCF for this mod at Wrye Bash BCFs Collection for Mods. It will convert the archive into a BAIN-friendly one to make it easier to install.

      Thanks @Dispensation,

Indeed I've added this particular mod to my current loadout a while back

And while it was an unfortunately never updated beta,
I've found it rock solid stable.

Though a subtle additional effect, it actually *does* quite add to the immersion.

      PS:
Can perfectly be combined with KatKat's smoking candles.

awesome little immersion mod, its like one of those little details that blend in with the game you almost forget its a mod and then realize its missing in the vanilla game lol. Great work also love the various download options. Because candles don't smoke until you put them out :p

Using the MIP version with the 'DropLitTorches' mod and it's absolutely awesome - looks great. Thanks for making it!

well it doesn't work properly, as the smoke is emitted always in the same direction without reacting to position

You mean when you drop a torch on the ground? I hadn't noticed that at all tbh. Too busy gawping at the smoke trail you get when you run along...

Yes. I don't think it can be fixed, as the smoke doesn't react to orientation unlike fire, even when detached via a node from the torch mesh.

    Looks amazing!

Also, the flame itself looks great in your screenshots and videos. Which mods are you using for this? It looks very realistic.

http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45927/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Foblivion%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D45927&pUp=1 1k, but I suspect it's the ENB that boosts its vividness

I thought so (by the way, when linking to nexus mods it is enough to post the url up to the number after /mods/, so for example: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45927, or with the /? that appears after the number when opening the mod page without a certain tab active).

By the way, I just discovered a problem with the rar file of the 1k version of this mod which can cause an invalid, undeleteable folder... please refer to my comments on the mod's page for further information.

Apparently it's not a bug, but a feature... I actually contacted the WinRar developers about this and the answer was that it intentionally supports all kinds of folder names for people who need this on different platforms... whatever.

Making it non-OS specific seems to be a big oversight to me

Thank you! I was wondering why my torch was looking so bad lately, I forgot to reinstall MIP.

Added a compatible version (and now I'm using it too).
