This is a good mod, I used it for over 10 years. Finally got rid of it when my load order got too full because I realized I was ONLY using it to make the training menu not disappear between sessions; you can just click away on the same screen until you've reached your limit. Handy, but taking up a load order slot just for that was no longer feasible, since the training cost aspect of it wasn't of much interest to me. Maybe at this point it should be incorporated with the author's Miscellaneous Tweaks, a brilliant mod that'll always stay in my game for everything that it does.
You used the mod for over 10 years? It was only released 7 years before you made this comment lol
BTW thank you for mentioning this author's Miscellaneous Tweaks mod, because your comment caused me to check the author's profile for other mods and I found their bashing mod which gives the player control over when they shield bash. Which was the only reason I used to use Unnecessary Violence, which I had to stop using because of too many conflicts.
But their bashing mod works perfectly for me, so in short, thanks for the comment lol
Ha ha, yep I used for 3 years before it was made, apparently. A miracle! Btw, I used Merge Plugins to merge this mod in with several other mods and it works fine, so it no longer takes up a load slot. I thought I might have to name the merged esp MigTraining so that it can still read its ini, but I didn't have to. So there's no need to take up a slot on this mod, but make sure whatever you merge it with doesn't also have an ini. (In my case I combined it with Enhanced Water, GOSH, and both esps from More Immersive Sound - all of which are very near each other in the BOSS loading order, so nothing is wildly misplaced - and all mods are working fine.)
Unfortunately, the author does not often appear here, but maybe someone will tell you. Is it possible to disable the check for a specific coach? For example, in the Trade and Commerce plugin, the coach has a fixed fee. The game stops while learning. What are the opinions?
EDIT: Clarity for compatibility with NorthernUI - scripts on training menu only run if selecting the training dialogue option via mouse click. Activating with gamepad (at present) will not trigger the scripts, resulting in only Vanilla training costs.
I see what you did with "migTrainingQ.fTrainPlayerLevelMult". Is it possible to modify this part so instead of geometrical progression there would be a curve? With training on low level cheaper, but on high levels - more & more expensive. Putting a discount there only makes training very cheap on high level. I manually kept editing this part over my playthrough. Although I suppose it's possible to leave it blank and modify other options.
This liooks interesting. The only item that comes to mind is potential conflicts with other mods that affect training costs: OOO, Enhanced Economy etc. I guess loading this later and disabling the EE feature through the ini should help.
This mod uses whichever base value for fTrainingCostMult you have configured in your game to apply its changes as a multiplier to it, and only changes it during training. You can use whatever mod you want to alter that setting and it will adapt to it just fine, there's no conflict no load order issues in that regard.

Any other mods that affect training?
