Without Ely's Uncapper, the weapon modifications are almost completely nerfed. As a Grandmaster of Blade with 200 strength, my elf can deliver 113 damage points per strike with a Perfect Madness Longsword. Without Ely's, that drops radically to 43. I've had no problems using Ely's Uncapper despite its stagnation on the forum.
Yay first person to comment!!! Did not download this yet but I was checking out the description and I would give it a try, but I wish there was some options to tweak some of the features being added probably via an ini file. That way, the players can tweak it to suit their tastes i.e look at mgick's misc fixes: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/42658/?. If the author is willing to put an ini file with this patch I bet it would get more attention.
I'll look into making an OMOD for this to include an INI file to allow users to selectively activate and deactivate features of this mod. Presently, only the alchemical ingredient changes are separated from the main mod, and I've intention of expanding that section of the mod to include something similar to the "Advanced Alchemy" mod, but I've no firm sense of when that will be. I'm tied up with a more serious programming project at this time. Please let me know what you like and don't like about this mod. Constructive criticism will help create a better mod!
