Seagulls are amazing - I use this part of this mod and really enjoy them. Ravens are beautiful as a model, but their behavior isn't realistic enough for me. They live in pairs, not in groups, and they're extremely territorial creatures. So five and more ravens circling in the same area for a long time... that just doesn't look like real ravens' behavior. I'd like to use "Raven" part of this mod, but looking at these large circling groups totally breaks immersion for me. Is it possible to make another variant of "Raven" mod - with single birds or pairs instead of five-birds and ten-birds groups?
First of all: Thank you for this charming mod! It definitely adds to Oblivion's atmosphere.
I do, however, have one issue: The seagulls flying over Anvil harbor. Their flight animation has a "pumping" or stutter effect, going faster, then slower, then faster again, nearly stopping in between.
If you are on a low-end system, I think this mod may sometimes cause CTD. On my nice computer with my proper Oblivion install it works fine, but on my old shitty laptop without a proper graphics card I get a lot of crashes after installing this when I go to new locations like forts. The mod looks really nice, and adds a lot to atmosphere, but you should only install it if you're running the game on a proper system, I think.
Lol I wouldnt recommend playing anything like this on a shitty laptop, let alone with mods :p It's just too painful, like wading through treacle in lead boots on a planet with 150% gravity whilst giving a fat guy a piggy back!
I placed it pretty high up, before weather mods. It normally wont conflict with anything because it just adds new stuff, but if you have any mods intendedly editing cell records you'll want to place this higher for safety. The same goes for similar mods such as Natural Habitat and Ducks and Swans.
Ah I didn't see that Ducks and Swans mod, well it seems kinda pointless continuing with the duck one I was making so instead I will just add a recommended mod link to that page. I will still see about making other plugins though
FYI i'm gonna definitely add more to this, got a ducks one half made now which will be up soon with more to come So might be worth tracking this page if you like this sort of thing
