Okay, so just in case anyone ever asks themselves this question again: The records were first identified and then removed properly by using Tes4Gecko. Tes4Edit doesnt suffice for this purpose. There is no real way of dealing with them except by removing them. This is no loss, however, as they just sit there doing nothing anyway.
To all those who are confused by the installation (god knows how):
You install Immersive weapons. Then you install this fix so that it replaces the original Immersive weapons .esp. Then you rebuild your bashed patch with the altered IW.esp. That's it. you can add it to leveled lists or dont, that's entirely up to you, as you should know when using the bashed patch.
Was gonna ask the same thing. Guess I'll just try.
EDIT: It has appeared to work. I just made a regular bashed patch and merged patch without this fix, maybe I'll regret it later, but for now whatever. So yes, OOO and Immersive Weapons work together as far as I'm concerned.
It's fine to the point of weapon balancing. OOO rebalances the weapons (as far as I'm aware) and for the new weapons to fit in, you'd need a proper balancing patch.
this fix doesnt fix anything for me i replaced esp with this fix and now my wyre bash keep giving me "warning" about immersive weapons and the esp isnt howing in wyre bash
Thank you for this. I've endorsed Ironman5000's, and wanted to endorse this for your contribution. There's no endorse button here, so I gave kudos. Thanks again, great find'n'fix!!

Another mod has a MGEF.OBME error and that one has no fix.
