Glowplug, I'm confused as to what this mod is. I'm guessing it's part of a larger project?

If you could summarize what you have offered here for me, I'd be grateful. I'm a might curious about all this, heh.

Thanks for the donation to the community.

Hi d181sp1, thanks for the post.
This project started out more as a proof of concept for a travel system in what I was planning for Nagasteim. As usual, I got carried away and built scale models of Cyrodiil and Shivering Isles. Most people like to earn things and hence the quest - I was trying to speak like the wizard from Skyrim-Dragonborn but will never ever try that again.
The concept is that each travel realm runs in it's own time, hence no travel penalty and the original name of Time Cairn - not sure why I changed it to Time Spell.
The lack of travel penalty comes at the cost of Sanity Points which are double or triple for escaping some places such as Oblivion Planes. At a certain number of Sanity Points we get sent to a random dungeon to earn them back.

As for any of my mods, I'm not sure. I've been going solid for around 7 months either doing Blender/Unity courses or working on a game. I made sure to do a course on game story telling and another on game psychology to make sure that people aren't left saying "I'm confused as to what this game is".

      Regards

Oh cool, that makes much more sense to me now. Did you ever end up completing all of it then?

Thanks for taking the time here, best of luck to ya!

Uhm, I am missing all terrain meshes (Except for LOD distant terrain( for in Sadrith Arcuhn, so I am forced to use TCL everywhere. Help? I've tried it with the BSA and even after extracting the files from the BSA

My apologies for late reply. I did not find out till some time after that we can only Oblivion.esm and 1 other esm, rest have to be esp. By that time nobody was downloading so I left it. I might just take this mod off Nexus.

Having made a stupid mistake with something for Nagasteim I needed a break on something simpler.

Firstly vanilla statues and regular varla stones have been used for both appearance and to remove adult only rating.

This version adds a small quest required to gain the Time Cairn spell.
I've tried to avoid the distraction of popup dialogue boxes - five including quest start and stop.
Keep an eye out for screen/text messages but don't worry if you miss them - you'll work it out.

If you own Morrowind then I suggest using it's Explore music tracks.
Details on this are in the ReadMe.

There is now a point system based on the location teleported from (only after the quest).
At twenty points you are randomly sent to one of three places to redeem yourself in combat.

During the quest there are intended and alternate ways to follow Athaleon's instructions.
These are simple and play out in a regular manner.

With Nagasteim I plan to take care of such issues with it's own save/reload files.
The more you cause a particular save to reload the more you will encounter certain...issues.
While it won't touch the game clock you will be time shifting which will exacerbate those...issues.
If you have any suggestions or criticism of that then now is the time to say.

Watched the video. It looks really interesting. I can't really see myself using it outside of your questline though. Others might. The statues and sigil stones do look a bit out of place to me though. I understand why they're there. They just don't quite match the aesthetics of the rest of the zone.

      Thanks for the feedback.

These are good questions that I wasn't sure how to present the answers without them getting lost in the Description.

I've tried to answer them as well as a few other things in the post above (ahh it put it below for me) of which I'll put a link to from the mod's Description page.

The more I think about it the more I have to agree with what you are saying.
The statues are intended as landmarks but they are a bit gauche. I could at least make them a lot smaller.
The retextured Varla Stones look out of place. There has got to be something from Oblivion that would be more suitable.
The SI portal stones don't look right because I have not been able to get the material right - I don't know what to do about this.

Maybe I should not discard it all together from Nagasteim, I'll have to think about that.

Nagasteim has taken a new direction and won't be using this.

Azura is simply a retexture of the original and positioned as such.

There is a hand wing lady in Morrowind and mine is positioned as such.
She will be used in Nagasteim as a portal to a Dwemer dungeon.

Meridia is simply a retexture and tweak of the original mesh.
Sheogorath, as Jyggalag, states that the other Daedric deities betrayed him and I think she fits the role right where I've put her.

The Cyrodiil portal stones were going to be sigil stones but I that is too many animations for one cell. I replaced them with retextured Varla Stones. I found the original textures make them hard to see.

The SI portal crystals are a low poly replica of the SI Knight Heart using original texture.

If I'd gone ahead with this in Nagasteim the rules of travel were going to be...
    * never use the vanilla map markers to travel.
    * never being allowed to "Wait" at certain stages.

When playing a class based heavily on magic and sticking to the rules of travel the Time Cairn can be used to make certain things quite challenging.

If I were to use the original Construction Set to redo Nagasteim it would take months to remake the interiors alone.
I've just started use the Construction Set Extended which enabled me to redo the Time Cairn in a matter of days. I found it a great practice run.

With all said, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
If anyone gets some fun out of the novelty value that's great.
If anyone can see room for improvement and/or use then please let me know.

Part of releasing this mod is to get feedback on this sort of travel.

What if the Cache location sent you back to that time?
What if the world stepped asynchronous to your time travel?
While it is too complex for Cyrodiil and SI events it is what I am planning for Nagasteim.
