Using Wrye Bash 3.06 (latest version on Oblivion Nexus) and this conversion file, the error is:

    Traceback (most recent call last):
    File "bash\balt.pyo", line 1796, in _conversation_wrapper
File "bash\basher\installer_links.pyo", line 1204, in Execute
File "bash\bosh.pyo", line 6851, in apply
    File "bash\bolt.pyo", line 1997, in extract7z
File "bash\bolt.pyo", line 2133, in __call__
File "bash\bolt.pyo", line 2104, in __call__
File "bash\balt.pyo", line 1548, in doProgress
File "wx\_windows.pyo", line 2971, in Update
    wx._core.PyAssertionError: C++ assertion "value <= m_maximum" failed at ..\..\src\generic\progdlgg.cpp(337) in wxProgressDialog::Update(): invalid progress value

The conversion does not complete as there is no new installer. Any ideas?

Thanks for your work on this mod!

Sadly I get the same error as you two. Too bad, there's never a python coder around when you need one!

I've been having the exact same error, so decided to repackage the mod into a BAIN archive to remove the need for any conversion file.

...Aaaand then I realised that a BAIN-friendly upload of the mod has been sitting on Wrye's Bain Mods page for 8 years...Oops!

If you're having this issue, then grab Wrye's file here:

    7) See installation instructions inside the created file

I also cannot find a created file. This is a great mod, but I'm even having more problems with TES MM with Better Cities. Am I missing something really obvious? Thanks for all the great work!

Thanks for doing this. I am in the process of rebuilding my Oblivion modding environment, and you just saved me some time. Endorsed!

After conversion i get these lines in Wrye Bash
    "
    Traceback (most recent call last):
File "bash\basher.pyo", line 10767, in Execute
File "bash\bosh.pyo", line 7210, in apply
File "bash\bosh.pyo", line 7483, in unpack
TypeError: coercing to Unicode: need string or buffer, Path found
    "

The next step is "7) See installation instructions inside the created file "
but i can't find any created files anywhere - and after installing the changed DarNified UI 132 7z Archive-10763.7z (as I think it is after the conversions step) - game crashes whenever I try to Load or Starting new game.

Would it work if I install archive according to the instruction of DarNified UI creator, but still using Wrye Bash. I'm not sure Wrye Bash would allow me to change Oblivion.ini for instance. Any answer would be greatly appreciated !

I got the same error message, but the mod description says "disregard the error" so I closed Wrye Bash's error message box, and right clicked on Darnified UI and selected "Install". I was then able to start Oblivion, but none of the UI buttons would work, not even the "Quit game" button. The fonts were huge and blurry.

Again, there are no "installation instructions" packaged with the file. This was a frustrating waste of time.

Thank you for this. Not sure if its needed still now that WB can unpack .omod files. I used this anyways cuz I prefer to use WryeBash when I can. Works great.

    Endorsed.

Thank you for this, but no matter what I do, after I install Darnified in Wrye Bash I need to restart it, otherwise any changes I did AFTER installation of Darn simply won't save (if I manually click Save Settings it says IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory). Also, when I restart it, + (plus) symbol is disappearing.

This also happens for me with a few other mods like All Natural, which contains INI settings.
