Is it just me or some of those look like a solidified piece of brown material?

Beautiful. This imho, is the best soul gem retexture out there. +1 Endorsed

Nope. The texture doesn't really support the shape. Which is really necessary for Oblivion's soul gem models.

These textures look really nice! Thanks for sharing! It's the little things that make the world interesting.

Looking good, but... If the mesh was slightly like it Skyrim I'd be even happier

Yes , an OOO compatible would be greatly appreciated. Looks really good and was all set to download when OOO was mentioned. Been playing with OOO for so long I forget it is a mod and not vanilla.

OOO is definitely the mod you'll want to install
Of course, most mods are rubbish, but look at top 100 and you'll find many good ones.
Differece is in glowing, yeah, and defeintely big/black/grand soul gems have different meshes from here:
    http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/10403/?

It seems that small and middle soul gem are taken from that mod, too.

If I remember correctly (I may be wrong because I play with OOO ever since I remember and vanilla version is a distant past for me), OOO differentiates between empty and charged soulgems (empty is quite dull stone-like, charged is glowing and radiant). I think it also introduces some mesh adjustments, but I'd need to read through the readme again to confirm both statements.

What is the difference between a OOO version and a standard version? I try to stay away from gameplay overhaul mods, since I only have bad experience from them.
