I'm having an issue where the left eye texture is missing.

So sorry to hear, and I'm sorry for the delay in reply. This mod has been around a long time now, and that's the first I've heard of anyone experiencing this problem. If you're still experiencing the issue, I'd recommend deactivating any other mods that would be potential conflicts, see if the problem persists, and if so, try a fresh download and installation of the mod. There is no reason internal to the mod that the left eye texture would disappear. I hope that helps.

I thought it might be a conflict. just thought I'd put it out there just in case someone else ever had the problem. Thanks for the reply.

    Hi dethrockboy

Thanks for this combo of mods its great. What face mod/ mesh/ textures are you using in the pictures for this mod? Final question, how do you combine face mod esp's? Is it simply making a merge patch with TES4 edit?
    Thanks again !

      Relinquishnow,
Sorry for the lateness of my reply! I'm glad you like the combo. In my pictures, I did not use any face mods, but I believe my skin textures are from Shockwolf (http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/42414//?). I have been away from Oblivion for a while, so this is all going from memory, but I think that's right. Everything else in the pictures are simply the new hair styles and eye textures that were created by the talented artists I mention in the description.
I hope that is helpful! To merge the face mod esps, I started with one of the esps and simply added elements from the other, one at a time. For some reason they don't merge well otherwise. In this case, I started with the eyes file and added each hairstyle to each race, one by one.

I got this downloaded and set up and the hair styles are great and the eye options are there but the character model has no eyes. In the character builder I can look right through the model's head at the cell bars, and it's no better in game. Can anybody tell me what I might have done wrong and how I might be able to fix it?

It sounds like the files were placed in the wrong folder, or there is a conflict with another mod. Are you using only Vanilla races, and no other eye or hair mods at the same time? I recommend first checking the folder paths to make sure the eye textures are in the textures folder, then try disabling other mods except for this one, and probably lowering the load order of this mod. Please keep me/us updated on how it goes.

Thank you for getting back to me. I don't have any other mods downloaded right now, so yes to your first questions. When I downloaded the files I copied the contents of the folder for this mod (which included a folder titled "Meshes", one titled "Textures", and two other files) and pasted them into Oblivion's "Data" folder. I did not mess with the contents of any of the folders, just put them in the "data" folder where my husband told me to. We figured it should be about the same as installing mods for Fallout, right? I'm not sure what you mean by load order though. Let me know if I did something wrong as far as you can tell. Thanks.

Okay, if this is the only mod you have right now, then load order does not matter. It sounds to me like the folders did not merge in the correct order, so the .esp file is looking for the eye files in a different place than they are. The folder path should go like this: Data-Textures-Characters-Nequam-Eyes, and all of the eye files are in the "Eyes" folder. Make sure that is how it looks on your machine. Let me know if that does it.

Hmm, that's exactly the file path. :/ I'm not sure what else there is to do, everything looks right as far as I can tell, but the character models still lack eyeballs when I enable the file, lol. Can you think of anything else? You've been very helpful, thank you.

Okay, I totally figured it out. It was a problem on my end. Please download again and everything should be fine. Sorry about the trouble, and thanks for directing my attention to it! Let me know what happens!

Hmm, when I try to extract the files I get the following message:

"The compressed (zipped) folder is empty.
Before you extract files, you must copy files into this compressed (zipped) folder."

Is my computer just not recognizing the contents? Do I need to install an unzip program? I was told that Windows has one built in, and it does have the option there.

I just downloaded the files from here onto a fresh computer, and everything went smoothly, so this must be something on your end. It may be your specific zip extractor software, but you're right - Windows should have one already. The message it's giving you sounds like it thinks you are trying to "compress" a file, but you should be trying to "extract" this one. There are some free zip extractors available for download on the web, so you might try one of those and see if it helps. Everything with my files should be correct now though. Good luck!
