I have the same problem. Enter the store and all three of us are in free fall. Managed to talk to Calindil, but he didn't even have the spell... all in all, this mod is totally broken.
I know this is a really old mod, but I'm having the same problems. I try using the esm first, and went to see Calindil. I had to lockpick the door pay the fine and then guess what? Calindil doesn't have the spell. So I switched to the esp and pretty much the same thing happened (that's two fines I just paid). So now I tried this "Modified" version and as soon as I enter I'm free falling... I did however saw Calindil and some how got to talk to him, but still no spell. Anyway I really hope you can get it fixed cause it would be very useful. Oh did I mention that I collected over 300 books just so I can use this spell? lol
Your mod makes the inside of the mystic emporium disapear! I go inside to find im falling in the void along with the shop keeper. The shopkepper keeps on falling and reapearing where he first was and the door won't take you back. IT'S ONE WAY! Also the boor can only be seen from one side and there are flosting chests. I would rate this mod as a 1 for this but im guessing im the only one with the problem, so i'll wait a while so someone here can tell me what to do.
There is npow a great new mod that changes the textures/meshes/whatever on ALL books on cyrodiil and makes them utterly gorgeous. And bookplacing is no longer compatible with them. plus I have removed the old version from my comp completely.
So I tried to remove all the beautiful meshes. It didn't help, I still don't have Librarian's helper, and Calindil doesn't, either. Um... Help?

damn, i dunno why, but calindil is nowhere to be found. upstairs, the basement, i've waited for 48 hours and no Calindil at the Mystic Emporium >_<
