The plugin is corrupt (http://i.imgur.com/NXyZ63Z.jpg) and I don't know why or how. You will have to get a new plugin from the author.

This screen shot (http://i.imgur.com/ECvqrpm.jpg) was comparing the original plugin and the plugin from the alternate site. It shows a lot of 0's padded onto the end as if it was made with some crappy zip compression program and these days 7zip can't read that exact format.
Another thing you could do is load it in the CS and save it. When the CS saved it for me it was similar to the file at the alternate site. Another thing I noticed is that all the text in the original plugin looks like it's in a foreign language or more accurately, the text has a different encoding. The CS seems to handle it properly. When you save it answer yes to all for the error with the pathgrid, and then answer yes to the next error about truncating the file. Then save it. Can't guarantee anything but it should work. If something is a tad bit off you will need to alter it in the CS.
the crystalize spell thing is not working. do I need to have a Welkynd Stone or something, or what? I did what I was supposed to do, it was still glowing, I marked in in the crosshairs and cast the spell, but still not working. us there something else I need to be doing? should I be standing in a certain spot? should I be a certain level to get it going? as far as I know, there's no mods I have that conflict with this one, so no worries on that. but it still will not proceed, despite me doing what from what I assume was directed to do.
I seem to be having the same issues as a lot of other people, and no matter what I try it still isn't fixed. I really like the sword and wish I could play through the quest, but the three hours I've sunk into trying to get the first mission too work is just enough and I regrettably must give up :/
Two things: I've discovered what may be the issue with getting Crystallized Welkynd whatevers. Make sure you HAVE NOT used that Ayleid Well for the mana regen. I hit the Vilverin Ayleid Well first for the regen after the bandit fight, then couldn't get the Crystallized Welkynd; reloaded, came back, cast the spell without using the Well and it worked fine. I noticed that casting the spell Durban gives you makes the smoke/mist/whatever rising off the well disappear and you can't use the Well (permanantly? until respawn? not certain)'s mana regen. One other thing, when creating a Bashed Patch, I get an error in a Python stdout/stderr window: Aetheric Cuteblade contains an unknown record group. Any ideas?
