It looks like when in Swap mod (after you press H), you cannot pose your character. You have to repress the H again, then you can pose your character again.
I honestly don't know, it's been like 8 years since I worked on this, and I don't have any of the tools or even the game installed anymore.
I think I recall though that making it compatible with other mods generally would require manual editing of the bones in the unique skeletons of those mods to match the swapped bone names in the vanilla skeleton. If you want to mess with it and release a compatibility pack you're welcome to, but I don't currently have the time to work on it anymore.
short version: New download added "Mounted Weapon Hider" get this to remove the weapon stuck through your shoulder
Since the horses animations are causing the weapon position weirdness, the best solution I've come up with is to hide the weapons when you're mounted. Vanilla Oblivion hides the 2hand weapons to prevent clipping anyway, so this seems reasonable.
This is a separate download so that anyone who uses this mod only for moving 2hand weapons to their hip can decide not to install the weapon hider if they choose.
Unfortunately this solution will also effect all the the NPCs (hiding their weapons when they mount also). The only other solutions available seem to be ones that will cause all sorts of issues with most of the horse mods out there, it didn't seem worth it.
I've added an optional Compatibility Set for DMC Stylish 2.1 under optional files. This should work for both the standard version and the specialanims version.
Also it appears that Get Up and The Jump Project 1.2 animations are already compatible (they have no back/sideweapon bones), they just need to be copied to the right place: - Extract the files to a temp folder - Rename the _male folder to _katana - Move the Meshes folder to your Data folder
discos8an: Thank you so much for your generous offer. However, I do use quite a few replacers, and I wouldn't ask you to make compatibility files for them all. Again very generous offer... it is much appreciated. Just a heads up in case you are still interested in what replacers I use: I am using DMC Stylish 2.1, GetUp 1.0, and The Jump Project 1.
Edit: I just saw your second post. I am going to try out the maximum compatibility skeleton version ASAP. Thank you very much.

Any solution?

It makes my forthcoming mod (Link from Legend of Zelda) perfect!
But btw, this mod still not compatible with Real High Heels mod http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/36883/?
Please make it compatible. Thanks a lot in advance.

@mooncarver:
Thanks for reporting that issue to me, I rarely use horses so hadn't noticed. I'm looking into how best to fix the issue now.
if it's not too much trouble, can you plz make it compatible with this mod as well?

the 1 hand idle stance turns into vanilla after switching to the new sheath option.
I just discovered this file actually and instantly thought you know, with some work this could very well be the new shields on back system
