This really helped me when installing different graphics mods. I have a great view of the distant fog and landscapes. The chests are pointless to me, but thank you for the mod!
I have kind of a complaint, but perhaps it can be viewed as a suggestion for future version, if there is one.
One thing that bothers me about a lot of awesome mods like this is that they add some cool feature and then ruin it by adding things that have nothing to do with it. The teleport to the top of the tower is an awesome idea and I love it. But why did you add chests, armor and weapons? That adds an unnecessary cheat to your otherwise great mod and also breaks the immersion and believability of it. If they were separate mods, that would be cool for anyone that wants the extra stuff. I just wanted your teleportation idea, but have to accept other unrelated changes as well. This isn't just you though; lots of modders make additions that have no relation to the purpose of their mod, and it's a little frustrating.
Sorry if I come across as ungrateful. I do like what you did, and think it's a great idea and was implemented well for the most part. I just don't like the extra stuff you added that really wasn't necessary.
This is the absolute best White Gold Tower mod there is, but I'm having some sort of problem with it - the railings don't appear in my game. Instead of your awesome-looking pillar railings shown in the screenshots, I see flimsy-looking iron railings, floating in mid-air. Not sure what I could be doing wrong, as my load order is fine and everything's loaded. If that could be fixed this would be an essential mod. As for the location of the telepad, I think this is the only realistic mod of the bunch. Think about it, would the portal to the top of the tower be sitting out in the Palace District for any lowly beggar to warp up to and take in the view? It was likely the Emperor's spot of contemplation, and as such would logically be locked deep inside the Palace and heavily guarded, not available for common access. Which makes it all the more rewarding to make it into the heart of the Palace undetected and make a mad dash for the telepad (which is always guarded heavily by officers). I find it works best to bring along a companion or two and have them distract the guards while you run for the telepad. If any of the guards follow you up, you have a small posse to deal with him. And nothing is more epic than you and your companions laying smack down on a guard at the top of the world. It's also amazing to summon the Akatosh Mount and leap off toward Cheydinhal. So great mod! Had a lot of fun with it, and would appreciate any advice with the missing railings.
