I created this because I really throught the Master's Alive mod was a great idea. However, I took it a step further.

Requirements: Vanilla Oblivion, version 1.2.0.416

-All master trainers are now essential.

-All master trainers are now lvl 40 NPC's, regardless of PC lvl. This dramatically increases their skills and stats. (All trainer npc's must have their level fixed at a number in order to offer training, so I chose a level that seemed reasonable for someone having a lvl 100 skill.)

-While leveling them, I kept their mercantile skill similar to what it was prior to me leveling them up. This keeps things like training, spells, and services at the same prices.

-Master trainers now actually have 100 skill in the subject they train.

-Certain master trainers received additional spells related to their class or specialty.

-All master trainers that have spells, now also sell them.

-Various other master trainers also received additional services, and will purchase certain items.

-Master trainers that buy/sell goods, have 1500 gold to work with. The master trainer of mercantile however has 2000 gold to work with.

-Many master trainers that didn't have weapons, now have one. Some, that did have weapons or armor, got upgrades to them. No longer is it a good idea to go picking fights with master trainers!


Pros and Cons of this Mod...

-I believe the Master's Alive mod has respawn set, so you can use it to revive any dead master trainers in an old save game. Mine does not.

-My mod was intended to be used with a fresh game, and an intended side effect of my mod is that it makes some of the quests given by the master trainers a good bit tougher.

Quests that increased in difficultly because of my mod...

-Block master quest
-Hand to Hand master quest
-Sneak master quest


Bottomline, it's a very simple mod, got the idea from Master's Alive mod. I hope you all enjoy it!


Compatibility: Naturally, this mod will interfere with any other mod that alters the master trainers.
