   In response to lollerich's post, reverse pickpocketing is only possible with weightless items like poison apples and garlic

   Could you do this for chokeberries as well? Then, even lesser alchemists can brew the poison.

   Reverse pickpocketing isn't possible anyway. Leaving it on the table where they sit down to eat works perfectly though.

   you don't have to pick them onto the npc , you can just remove all of the other food on the table and put some your delicious apples one the table, then they will eat the apples instead

   usually you have to pick pocket them INTO the npc's inventory (i guess npc's can't read tooltips)
