using MO2 & Wrye Bash -- this mod shows up in both lists just fine, but gives message in-game "unable to find ini file in Data/ini" -- checked and this folder does not exist. A few comments below suggests the mod will create ini folder it on its own... but it just complains instead
Hello, I have several problems with some hud information.I use the health, magic and fatigue bars distributed across the width of the screen and they block other information that appears such as acquired diseases and the status of my armor. I would like to change the location of the disease and armor status that are on the right of the screen but place them towards the middle of the screen, so that they are not covered by the health, magic and fatigue bars. I would also like to remove the 3 empty bars that appear below everything but since I don't know what they are, I don't know where to place them in the ini so they don't appear. Also, the other problem I have is that when I equip a bow, its health status appears but the number of arrows I have equipped does not appear. I tried to equip iron, steel, silver and elven arrows and none of them show up the quantity.

Can someone share a vanilla ini file with all custome bar and position? I added all bars, but I don't know how to set position from there. Many thanks.
excellent...there's no .omod so it cant even be installed. time to spend all day digging through files. 0/10
edit: yeah, you know what? no. this mod is an absolute failure of garbage and isnt worth installing at all. no reason this trash should even be available to download. idiotic mod dev.
You do realize that you can load the mod archive in OBMM and convert it to a .omod, right? The conversion data is right there in the package. Even if you're somehow not able to do that, it's not exactly hard to unzip the archive and manually place all the files where they need to go. It's just a bit more tedious.
This mod works perfectly for me and many others. There's no reason for you to be so rude, especially when (from the look of your profile) you haven't contributed anything to this community aside from whining and insulting mod authors.
Imagine calling a free mod garbage just because you don't know how to use OBMM or Wrye Bash, congratulations sir, you have made yourself look like a fool.
Found this mod and thought it was interesting enough to try out and see about spicing up the game a bit. I have installed the files for the orb version, but I keep getting an error message saying: "HUD Status Bars requires Menuque." Could anyone please help? Love the aesthetics for this mod.
Sure, if you remove all the properties referencing the text you want removed in the bar you're trying to edit, or use the "HUDtxtNoValue" property to remove percentages and such.
There's a lot of useful information in the documentation that comes with this, particularly the files "Hud Status Bars user guide.txt" and "Hud Status Bars ini file examples.txt"
I think this mod would be a lot more user-friendly if it had support for LINK configuration. The ability to see changes in real time without restarting the game 300 times would be fantastic.

Besides OBMM is an outdated mod manager that lacks many features of the modern mod managers. Everybody uses Wrye Bash or MO2 nowadays for Oblivion - they are recommended in most of the contemporary Oblivion modding guides. Check out Oblivion Comprehensive Modding Guide by Dispensation (OCMG) for example. OBMM may be required only for a few old mods here on Nexus that are impossible indeed to install otherwise. Like Timeslip's Nighteye Shader Replacement mod for example (although even Timeslip's mod may be easily replaced by scanti's Night Eye Shader Switcher paired together with uluego's Auto-Change NightEye for Oblivion and Nehrim).

Hope this helps! :)
