Heh! yeah im only 12 so i dont do much modding, the best ive done is like, making a weapon of my own, and some spells. but this is a great mod here!
Btw, can anyone tell me what is a good (cheap) graphics card to use so i can do super high quality? right now all i can do is super low, and its still slow.
I decided to give this a try and after getting the token I could see the Unarmored skill being exactly like Acrobatics 30. The defence of 4. Of course I wear only robes and no armor at all.
I decided to just check if it was really working and Console set my Acrobatics to 95. It still stays at 30 and 4. i decided to reload the savegame prior to said setting and used the Console for adskill, so adding 65 to my 30 Acrobatics. I leveled up 6 times, my Acro stays 95 but Unarmored remains 30 and 4.
I am using GOTY edition with the 3 UOP installed. a few other mods other than that, nothing messing with armor, skills... Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!
EDIT 1: starting a new character if i edit Acro to 95 *before* getting token, then it will show Unarmored 95.
EDIT 2: just saw my Unarmored Skill move from 31 to 32 (when my Acrobatics went to 37 i think). Apparently it is working !
The unarmored skill has it's own level progression. It's leveling up in the background but it's leveling progress isn't shown on the Acrobatics leveling progress indicator. It's not a direct cause/effect of Acrobatics being 30pts so Unarmored is 30pts.
Hope that helps
Edit- Hope you found that graphics card by now, heh
Mod work good but pls fix bug . My torken dont improve ability if i take torken with 56 acrobatics rank it will be stay in the same place even after improve my skills load game dont helm i must reload mod for this .
Hi, I came to suggest a different approach to the unarmored(in case you haven't thought of it before): move vanila clothes to another equipment slot, make armors(original slot) show over clothes(first apparel alternate slot), and robes(second apparel alternate slot) show over the rest. I'm not sure if the armor meshes would need to have the size slightly increased to not show the cloth under it, but still show at the gaps, although robes would just need to disable the visuals of items under them.
Then all you need is to detect equipment in the original armor slots, and give an Armor Rating bonus if those slots are empty. I'm completely unaware of how feasible is this, but I missed the many layers and slots of equipment from Morrowind, and I figured its unarmored skill was related to the use of the equipment slots.
I really like the idea of this mod, but I am having an issue with it. I picked up the token outside of the Imperial Prison Sewer, and now my menu (when I press Tab) is very hard to use. My mouse takes a few seconds to move around, the character's animation on the side is very choppy, and it just feels like the menu dropped to an fps in the single digits. Did anyone else have this problem? I am running the game on a Windows 8.1 computer with high graphics and the game runs fine outside the menu. I ran a conflict detector in OBMM and I did not find any mod conflicts. Could it be problematic with Darnified UI (I am using that). I would love to use the mod but I cannot with a menu that is that jittery and unresponsive.
Best mod ever. It's great for mages and for people like me who play as monk-style characters who would rather fight in robes. What kind of monk uses heavy steel platemail armor? Seriously, this is something that should have been implemented in vanilla Oblivion to begin with. Thanks for making it for us though. XD
Sometimes I have some stolen items or arrows that don't want to drop (unless sold or dumped in a container) with this on. I've only had that happen a couple times. Annoying but not game breaking.

I just wasted two weeks browsing mods.
I think the 12 year old now 30 won

And is 55 a good amount of AR?
