how do i use this mod. i have it installed and i've been staring at the dummy for a while now weapon drawn but no glow and no exp. what am i doing wrong?
This is a brilliant mod. I've always wanted to use the dummies, hay bails, etc to train while giving me xp. I hate when i have to leave a town and fight monsters to get any sort of xp. When I have Oscuros Oblivion Overhaul, im literally terrified to step foot out of a city. This mod gives me a chance to practice my skills inside of a town, and allow me to feel more confident when I leave it. It also adds flavor to my characters daily routine. Train for a few hours and then go about other business. I love it. Endorsed.
I second CaptainRC's request I've been looking every where for a training dummies mod that lets me practice destruction spells on them. I think it's annoying that you can't genuinely train on the training targets at the Arcane University.
It has issues selecting targets, I'm all the way in another room and it thinks I'm training melee on a target board rather than the chaindoll I'm standing right in front of. It does this most commonly, it is not a rare occasion, I thought it may be my load order; it was not.
While I'm not sure this is related to the mod, if I train too hard, I get CTD.
I love the idea of this mod. however, as of right now, I am getting crashing at random times when training my blade skill just outside of the Fighters Guild in Anvil.
I have a ton of addons installed, so it could be conflicting with one of them, i dunno.
GREAT! amazing! i've been waiting for a (functional) version of this for 6 years.
as a request, would it be possible to create a version where the dummy doesn't light up? or maybe lights up white just for a second when you activate/ deactivate it? if it would be a problem, don't worry about it. the functionality far outweighs my personal taste.
