thanks a lot for this! the landscape LOD beyond jerall and valus mountains is pretty atrocious on vanilla. by using Tamriel heightmap V_3_3 file with landscape lod generation fixed it all up! :D

Hi, I want to use this along with the Landscape module for TWMP, as some mods like Pellatine require them. However im also using J3 Atlassed VWD 2. I read in your compatibility notes that:

"last but noz least this should not be used with any lod texture replacer ..."

Does this mean that I'll have trouble if I want to install the heightmaps and landscape files for TWMP? and would J3 Atlassed VWD 2 be incompatible with these mods?

      1) Actually the TWMP landscape modules require this mod
      2) You need only the "Tamriel Heightmap v 3.3" archive from here, and no other archive (no LODs and no resources)
      3) J3 Atlassed VWD 2 is perfectly OK, cause it only has _far meshes
      4) You must then generate your own LOD files, check this 2 great guides from LenaWolfBravil: Installing TWMP Tamriel (how to install correctly the TWMP mods, either all of them or only the ones you want) and Building your own LOD (how to use TES4ll and TES4LODGen to generate your own LODs based on your mods/load order)

Thanks. I'm aware of how to use tes4ll and lodgen. I managed to install twmp and pelletine with no issues, but decided to exclude them from my load order after consideration. They're all amazing mods dont get me wrong, but I can tell pelletine needs more work just from walking around the region for about an hour or 2. secondly, the map I use doesnt account for the added land on the peninsula. I've seen maps that do account for it, but they arent really my style. Again thanks for all of your help, and also sorry for wasting your time.

A big disappointment. Content is missing and there are only half done mods to fill it. Destroy the landscape, if you use not TWMP-Mods for some provinces and not all provinces covered with TWMP. I can't recommend it, there are much better mods for opening new land.

Well, of course in this there's no content, this is only the full Tamriel heightmap...but I am curious, which new land mods did you have in mind? besides Elsweyr Anequina...

There are a handful, in my current playthrough I'm using Elsweyr Anequina, Valenwood Improved, Hammerfell Wilderness, Skyrim Nord Tombs, The Eastern Peaks module of Unique Landscapes (with Dwemer Ruins and Tel Valus patched in) and Black Marsh mod BETA.

While I'm not currently using it, the only real problem I ever encountered with TWMP were long load times. If you use Vortex (I know, I know) rule management can be a pain, especially with large load orders, but I use Vortex and was running both Elsweyr Pelletine and Skyrim Alive without issue (sans the aforementioned load times.)

yeah long loading times is typical from TWMP (at least in my experience...)

Content missing? WHat are you talking about? As far as content goes for TWMP, I have Elsweyr Anequina and Pelletine, TWMP Valenwood Improved, TWMP Southern Alliance, TWMP Hammerfell, TWMP Summerset Isles, TWMP Skyrim Improved, TWMP Locations, and TWMP Skyrim Alive, and the required TWMP High Rock all installed sand working!

I installed using Mod Manager 2 and everything in distant lands looks coloured in purple, pink, green... there is some way to fix it?

Hey everybody :), does anybody have or know where each of these listed TWMP mods are? I've found a few but mostly refining mods for those locations Not the locations main file/.esp itself chiefly the very first one "TWMP Elsweyr Anequina".

check the requirements tab, you'll find some that require this...and from them, check the respective requirements and you'll find some more, and so on....

Will this cause problems if I don't have all of the Unique Landscapes?

cool mod, but to me personally i dont see what the point would be of adding the other provinces.... theres no storyline to any of those

Well, you see Swordsaint, it's not really about what point you do or you don't see, it's about providing something for the community to expand upon, and, if there's no storyline for a particular province, that could be because a 'modder' hasn't done one yet.. or you haven't found any content to go along with this resource yet.
You have to look at the bigger picture of what could be, and not just what you can use, perhaps you could even look at what you could do for the community.

Ok, I installed it properly and I loaded the mods as instructed, but the in-game map doesn't work. It just shoes me the original map. What can I do to fix this?
