I'm going to give this mod a try and see how it goes :-) A few ideas though:
1. Include a ReadMe text in the .zip file. 2. The installation instructions on this webpage say it is an .ESP only install. However there are meshes and textures included. Correct this perhaps?
Since i have decided to steer clear of huge mods like UL due to too many compatibility issues, I am looking forward to seeing what this smaller mod will do :-)
I would love to see the various castle courtyards all revamped to look more garden like and appropriate for where they are. Too often the originals look like the wilderness. Not what you would expect in a castle! grin.
Well, my raphical problem has not reappeared in Chorrol. I wonder if it only happens early in the morning, something to do with low angled sunlight?
more generally I love the concept of this mod. Giving the cities the gentlest of makeovers, compatible with low end GPUs and unlikely to break any mods adding things to the cities. Some suggestions:-
Waterfront District, a bit more clutter and a couple more shacke with NPC residents would be nice. Elven Gardens?Talos Plaza?Temple District could do with a little clutter. How about a street sweeper in each IC area who goes back to sleep in new waterfront shacks each evening
There is no way the skingraad city changes will be compatible with Enhanced Daedric Invasion. EDI affects city gates and so they remain even if loaded before this mod. Learned that with Open cities - but open cities will work if loaded after.
Also saw NPCs in Skingrad trying to cross over where new gates. Nice idea but just not going to play well with others.
Also tes4edit chokes when trying to clean these merged mods (didn't try separate ones).
I too experieced the large orange plane of light near the new park. It was there early in the morning. After going shopping (ie leaving the Chorrol worldspace) then revisiting the scene the anomoly had gone.
A really nice addon. Those little improvement makes Chorrol a nicer town. Maybe some more plants and items (not too much obiovsly) will bring out its beauty. Hope to see more beautyfication.
