@Tamrius - Calling them broadswords was more or less in homage to the source that inspired the design. They called their sword Dragon Keeper's Broadsword even though the sword blade didn't look wide enough to be a broadsword either. I experimented with widening the sword blade, but I felt it looked kind of silly. I intend to give the model another look-over sometime in the future to allow me to give the sword features not currently feasible (shininess, transparency) but have no idea when I'll be able to find the time. When I do though, I can take another look at possibly widening the blade. As for the sword names themselves, I've been wanting to come up with some more original names for them, which I would implement with the quest mod that they're supposed to be a part of. Again, I don't know when I'll find the time to learn to make a long, involved quest, let alone actually create it.

Awesome swords, but they aren't broadswords. The blade width is regular...

The NPCs are set to be essential until your character is level 20. Once s/he is, they may still have the crown, but they will be killable (at least they were when I tested it). Alternatively, you can also talk to them when you're level 20 and through conversation you can either convince the NPCs to give you their swords or provoke them into attacking you, entirely depending on your play style. I know the whole level 20 thing may be a pain, but the swords are equivalent strength-wise to Daedric longswords and that was put in place to try to maintain some balance to the game by making players unable to get them at low levels. I hope this helps.

It seems that all the Broadsword carrying characters are unique. (ie, I can't kill them, they only fall unconcious.) And I can't obtain the sword. Help Please?

@Fixtional10 - You probably can't pickpocket the swords from the NPCs because they have them equipped. From what I understand, you can't pickpocket equipped items. I really don't know what could be causing your issue with reverse pickpocketing though. Besides working their setting that determines how likely they are to run during a fight, I didn't do anything else to them (meaning they have default values other than that). I also don't know why you wouldn't be able to pick the weapons up after killing the NPCs. All my testing (and re-testing after you brought up your issue) has resulted in being able to loot the swords from their corpses. I tested this with only the pose mod and race mod I used for the screenshots and the Unofficial Oblivion Patch active, so the only thing I can think of is maybe there's some sort of mod conflict with something else you're using, but I can't imagine what it would be.

@nida757 - Thanks for enjoying the mod and for the rating!

@LifeTaker - Thanks for your comments. I'm glad you like the mesh. I can see where you wouldn't need the swords if you prefer combat with your bow, especially with some of the great archery improvement mods out there.

@Pushkatu - Yeah, I know my textures aren't the best and my texturing skills overall need to improve. They're definitely something I'll be trying to work on. Thanks for the feedback!

@Sorrow_42 - Thanks for the comment. I'm glad you like them.
