The creator indeed has made it so 1.1 gives the player from 0.4 -> 2%, at least according to TS4Edit. I edited it to make it 10 and i indeed gives only 5-6. I say 5-6 cause sometimes it raises it 5% and some 6%.

I don't know how you calculated your stuff but it doesn't work like you say.I disabled my other mods to make it sure and the result is always the same.
v1.0 I need to sell 2 items to get 1% = 200 sales for 1 lvl v1.1 I need to sell 1 item to get 1% = 100 sales for 1 lvl
still makes 10'000 sales to go from lvl1 to 100 and that's still way too much
Thanks for the mod, I´m at level 58 at mercantile- and its going to be a pain in the ass- I´m also masteralchemist creating lots of potions to sell but as you said 50 times potion x sold at one time equals just 1 mercantile levelup point....
Excellent. i am playing a theif charcter and find it "kind of wierd" that my mercantile skill has only incereased once while i am an expert in the rest of the major skills
