To the author or anyone willing to work on this one it needs a couple of things. For one the horse follows too closely when you call it. It's right on top of you and won't get off. Second, when you put armor on a horse the name of the horse changes and the ring will no longer work. For example My Painted Horse changes to Armored Painted Horse. It would be nice if some rings were added so the armor patch would still work with this.
Other than that it works really well. I'd have a hard time giving it a 10 though since it doesn't really work with every horse. It's close though. No conflicts with any mods so far.
It seems as though you don't/cannot own the unicorn either, i actually found the unicorn on my own and wanted to prevent it from walking away from me all the time so i got this mod hoping it would make him follow me. Unfortunately it does spawn him to my location, but as soon as he's there he starts walking away. I even used the console to try to set ownership of him but it didn't work.
Either way this mod is fantastic just to be able to call my other horses I give it a 10 for sure.
I know I am kinda late, but I want to help those who are just finding this mod. While I have not used this mod myself I can explain some stuff. The ring will not work on Shadowmere. Even though you can right HER as you please, you do not own her. If you only have Shadowmere as a horse and own no other horses, check you player stats and you will clear see that you own "0" horses. Since this ring calls horses you own, it will fail on Shadowmere.
i have a problem, i try to summon shadowmere, but he dosnt summon with the ring on, it makes the horse noises, but no shadowmere, it mite becas my shadowmere has got the armour on, i dunno. Can anybody help or tell me wat i mite be doin wrong
its a quest horse u need to kill. it attack everyone thats as a weapon draw... its gona end killed soon or later and player will loose the unique unicorn ingame and wont be able to complete the quest .
Nah, you can ride it if your weapon is not drawn, and likes you. Try a charm spell. Anyways if you still don't like it, don't pick up the unikorn ring...

I had lost my shadowmere somehow.. and now he is back ! I even turn off the mod to see if it continues.. and its perfect.
