Great Mod. Excellent for those like me who suffers from OCD (Obsessive compulsive disorder). Now not myself will be able to slide that god damn difficulty slider. THank you!

I always had a problem with the difficulty in oblivion on easy it was pitifully easy and on medium i was getting 2 and 3 hit by dedorath in full deadric armor still kinda wanna get this tho even but the difficulty offset is ridiculous

I agree with Link6746. this mod is what i've always needed, and a disabled cheats version would be greatly appreciated. and to anyone who says "What's the point?" you obviously don't have the self-control to stop touching that damned difficulty slider.

Heartily agreeing with Link6746. While 50% difficulty is fine for vanilla oblivion, once you start adding in mods it starts making more sense to leave the slider in. Though I'm not sure how difficult keeping track of deaths is.

This does indeed do what it should. I only wish somebody would make an expanded version that not only made the difficulty slider not work, but also replaced it with adaptive difficulty (basically, if you die, the difficulty slider will go to the left a bit. if you kill a certain amount of things, or steal a certain amount of things, etc... it goes to the right.)

(QUOTE, X4PP3D on 01 Sep 2006) I don't mean to discourage you from modding, but I just don't see the point of this. The difficulty slider is a nice feature of Oblivion.

Yeah, but this makes it more realistic. There isn't a difficulty slider in life.

this mod helps revert the game to morrowind, where if something was to hard to do you leveld yourself up and did it later, unlike in oblivion where you can just slide it to the left and hey presto semi god mod

Wasn't there a difficulty slider with Morrowind as well? I believe it came with one of the expansions...
