    Would love to see re-releases of mods like this that cut all the needless edits and just provide a one-stop-shop for items that don't have a clean delivery method. From what I can tell, the makers of this mod were more concerned with form over function, leading me to pass on this one. Wish it was just a clean plug-in.

    wanted only the skin as a replacer, your nif is a huge mess, had to rebuild it from original weapon.

    But I do like the weapon, you should offer the sword as a replacer only too :)
    I love the daedric text written in tiny on the handle.

    This is a good mod that could be absolutely great provided that a little of refining went into it.

    1) There is an issue concerning the "applied" effects, where the text is constantly spammed once you kill someone, before besting Umbra

    2) The quest could be slightly refined to feel more a quest from the game, rather than a mod-added quest. Some examples: 
    - there is a bit too much text spamming even after you bested umbra on the top left; Could be fixed by making it so that new lines do not appear if Umbra is already applying an effect on you, unless the effect became stronger.</div>
    - During the quest, there is one useless pop up that tells "you just read the book". The FEEEDDDD pop up felt odd too.
    - Some of the effects of Umbra are rather useless - like the ghost summon
    - the effects of the big soul should also prevail over you draining little one (it seems like they get over-ridden)
    - when killing people in one hit, or with the powered attack, sometimes it failed to register the kill and Umbra didn't taste the soul.

    3) Currently even when you best the sword, the shrine seems to be yet usable and the quest log made me feel like more it was hinted. I would have enjoyed if you could actually talk to umbra in some way and form a mutual relationship or a parasitic one - according to the type of player.

    I'm having a very odd glitch/bug whenever I pick up the sword and kill something with it. As soon as the kill it made, it works fine, yada yada... If I have to kill a second time in quick succession (such as eliminating the fools at the Daedric Shrine.) then the problems start.

    Rather than only telling me once that I've attained the kill bonuses, it constantly spams me, often backlogging the messages by ~10 seconds. (Other events being announced will become delayed, such as if I feed for Vampirism and the like, those bonuses/deductions come late.)

    Any pearls of wisdom for me? And I have tried both versions of the mod included too. (The OB Vanilla and normal.)

    Besides that, very nice quest (Have yet to finish it- Leaving the sword down for now, but I've killed the Orc! =D.) and the sword looks as it should- The Supreme Lord's Ultimate Weapon xD.

    Assuming I have the same problem as Kusumura. When I kill anything or do any part of the quest, I get spammed with "Something stat has been added" then "Something (Forget what, I know it's an umbra stat thing) Has been removed, I have to save, Exit to desktop and reopen to get rid of it. Script bug?

    Okay, i know that posts are 1 year ago but... i Started the mod at lvl 41, no problem at all, easly killed umbra at the arena but the problem is that i got the buff "Umbra's deadly grasp" and "Umbra's Unyielding Resistance" over and over like 5 times per seconds wich annoys me after 10 mins of playing the mod. Also i cant use any spell at any time, or potion, or anything... So it's not worth it.
    Would liked to play this mod, but its to buggy for me. Thanks anyway, looked promising.

      Could it be a weird interaction with overhauls? I'm facing the exact issue!

    I like the mod, the sword and everything, especially the model is excellent. But when I decide to keep the sword at the end of the quest, does this mean that (provided I don't use console commands) for the rest of my time playing this game I can ONLY wield this particular weapon? I like the mod and everything.. but being bound to one sword forever is kinda annoying.

    What's the odd altar doing which you can find in the room where you fight umbra?


    1. When the whole Quest is done you can unequip Umbra like any other sword.
    2. After you tell Clavious that you'll keep the sword go back to the altar.

    Note for FCOM/OOO Users:
    tag mightyumbra.esp with grafics and rebuild your bashed patch, this keeps OOO from overiding the new sword meshes.

    Hello,
    does anyone know which version of Mighty Umbra I'm supposed to use for FCOM? I mean, I know there is FCOM_Mighty umbra, but is the "patch" for

    Mighty umbra vanilla OB
    or
    Mighty umbra.esp ? (the version with mobs stats?)

    A lot of mod authors seem to be aspiring writers. Nothing against that as long as they don't paste their essays on a mod description page instead of a short, to the point description of what the mod does exactly.

    Now we have a mod that doesn't work, an unfinished first chapter to a book and a description that shines through its absence.

    Ok but what does the mod do exactly? I am really tired of mods that don't explain even a fraction of it. And won't ruin the game completely by having a broken Umbra that I can't unequip.
    I do like the model very much, can you put up the weapon models only or do you mind if someone else uses it?
