For those who have a problem with the text appearing on top of the pictures, I have a potential solution -- but it involves manually editing the 'loading_menu.xml' file.
1. Go to Oblivion\Data\Menus and open the 'loading_menu.xml' file with Notepad. (Make a back-up of this file first.)
2. Scroll down until you find a section that begins with <text name="load_text">. This is your load screen text configuration. You'll see that trollf has edited some parts of this section already.
3. The first thing you'll want to edit is the font size. Change <font> 1 </font> to <font> 3 </font>. This significantly reduces the size of the font and makes everything fit a little better. (If you like the big font, keep it -- whatever floats your boat.)
4. Now, scroll down until you see this line: <add> 780 </add> <!-- default 555, edited by trollf for Loading Screens Themed Replacer -->. This line controls the height at which your loading screen text is displayed. I run my system at a widescreen resolution of 1920 x 1080, and by changing the 780 in the above line to 790, the text displayed as intended -- just beneath the picture. If your resolution is different, you may need to experiment, but this is what worked for me. (Note: If you don't want loading screen text at all, set the number high -- around 820 or so. This will push the text right off the edge of the screen and you'll be left with pretty pictures and a progress bar.)
5. Once you've finished editing the file, save it and load the game. Check your results and tweak as necessary.
2018 and this MOD is still going strong...but I'm still confused after reading the instructions for all Loading Screens replacers...
I've followed the instructions BEFORE installing OOO, as stated in the read me from the AddOn pack: If you have LSTR and LSTR:SI installed: - copy 'LoadingScreens.esp' file from 'LSA_Optional\AddOn+Base+SI' to 'Oblivion\Data' and overwrite old file.
So then for OOO, from the read me in the AddOn pack... If you have separate LSTR patch for OOO installed: - copy 'LoadingScreensAddOn.esp' file to 'Oblivion\Data'. Don't use any files from optional folder as those aren't compatible with patch for OOO.
It's the next line and the OOO Patch instructions that confuses me: From the AddOn pack readme In Oblivion Launcher choose 'Data Files' from menu and mark the checkbox close to 'LoadingScreensAddOn.esp' or 'LoadingScreens.esp' if you chose that one.
If I didn't have OOO, if I follow the instructions, you load the LoadingScreens.esp from the optional folder because that LoadingScreens.esp will load the screens from all three packs. I wouldn't activate the LoadingScreensSI.esp or the LoadingScreensAddOn.esp.
If I do use OOO, I don't use the LoadingScreens.esp from the optional folder. So do I only use LoadingScreensAddOn.esp? Will that only pull in AddOn screens but not Vanilla or SI? Now when you say to use LoadingScreensAddOn.esp OR LoadingScreens.esp, is that the LoadingScreens.esp from the Vanilla LoadingScreens? Will that mean that only Vanilla screens are used?
Now after loading the LoadingScreens-OOO.esp after OOO, I activate the LoadingScreens-OOO.esp. What other esp from what other pack do I activate? Can you have LoadingScreens.esp, LoadingScreensSI.esp, LoadingScreensAddOn.esp and LoadingScreens-OOO.esp activated and be done with it?
I guess the end question is, what ESPs do I activate and from wich MOD if I want all four activated?
Anyone know why some of my loading screens have the text cut off at the bottom? I guess some of the fonts are too big but I can't pinpoint the cause. I'm using Darn UI and I'm pretty sure that I made this mod overwrite Darn UI. I installed Darn UI in OBMM first, but my primary mod manager is Wrye Bash. After installing Darn UI in OBMM, I installed this mod in Wrye Bash.
Darn UI has an option during install that has compatibility for this and Loading Screens Themed Addon.Choose Trollf Loading Screens during DarnUI installation. It edits Loading_menu.XML to play nice with these two mods.I don't use OBMM but in the BAIN installer it's in folder 101.
Complaints about mod-specific stuff showing up notwithstanding (and you can replace the "offending" images pretty easily) this is 1000% better than the vanilla loading screens, which all look like they were made in 1988 on an Amiga by a teenager.
Nice idea but the non vanilla clothing and actions ruin it...Woman in halter top drinking coffee on Oblivion loading screen? Why make a mod like this with 50% of screens showing things that can't happen in the game.. Also, you need the ini edit fix described by Wenslydale below or it wont even display properly. 5/10

Hello I think it is a very good mod, but they could not get the translation into Spanish if it is not much annoyance
