Thank you so much for this mod. I am trying to make a new race and ran into this problem that you talk about and essentially gave up on making the race. This will help me out a whole lot now.
I went and added screenshots...though there really isn't a need for them.
Well, by using scripts it's certainly possible, but that's an entirely different ballgame. This Resource's purpose is to remove all those nasty Race Mod incompatibilities, and since scripts are by their very nature non-conflicting, that method falls outside it's purview.
You can apply different Meshes for the various parts of the head (Eyes, Ears, Head, Mouth, Tongue, Teeth). Interestingly, Oblivion supports different ear Mesh Paths for each gender, it's just that Bethesda used the same Mesh for both by default. So each race now has two unique ear Meshes.
Until a way is figured out to change Oblivion from pointing to the body meshes (over in the _male folder), having unique body meshes appears to be impossible.
Am I expecting infinitely too much from this, or will this ACTUALLY allow different meshes to be applied to different races? This only allows for different textures, right? That's pretty cool, though, don't get me wrong. I was just hyped at seeing the title.
Um...why would you need screenshots? This adds nothing new...notice the This is not a Re-Mesh/Texture in the What This Isn't section in the description above.
This is a Modder's Resource, for Race Modders. Players won't see any difference with this enabled alone.

That's some very impressive work though.
