Just wondering, but how did you get reshade working with ENB?
It's actually pretty straightforward (but I managed to do it the convoluted way ;P). You rename d3d9.dll (from ReShade) to sweetfx_d3d9.dll, then make adjustments in enbseries.ini so that it says:
[PROXY]
EnableProxyLibrary=true
InitProxyFunctions=false
ProxyLibrary=sweetfx_d3d9.dll
Your main d3d9.dll will be the one from ENB, the one from SweetFX (ReShade) is proxy.
That's it. I'm not sure if every shader from SweetFX is compatible with ENB, but at least the majority are. I use it mainly for chromatic aberration. There may be problems with SMAA when you use a combination of ReShade, OR, and ENB (you must use ENB's antialiasing, otherwise ENB will be disabled), but apart from that I guess anything goes.
Thanks, mate
Oh, and I'm actually growing tired of less than minimum FPS, and so I'm getting ready to switch to Nehrim until later. Are you still roaming that land?
...but sooner or later I will definitely continue with Nehrim...
Can I ask which ReShade it is ?
It's ReShade 1.1.0 with SweetFX 2.0. There are newer versions of ReShade (up to 2.0.3), but I haven't tried that one yet...
So, if you two are interested in what extra punch comes from ReShade, here, have a look.
You need to rename SweetFX's d3d9.dll to sweetfx_d3d9.dll, and change these lines in enbseries.ini:
[PROXY]
EnableProxyLibrary=true
InitProxyFunctions=false
ProxyLibrary=sweetfx_d3d9
(I'm not sure if MGE XE comes with its own d3d9.dll, but if it does, you'll have to find a way to make ReShade/SweetFX ride its coattails. Swerving around black holes in my memory I remember that the other way round is possible, too - you can make SweetFX's dll piggyback other dlls. But I'd have to scoop deeper in my brain - a messy job with all the funny residue... - to remember how it's done.)
But I've tried other ingredients from OR with ENB in various proportions, and almost everything works and looks sweet.
Happy experimenting
Good opening shot, too
But on a brighter note, these mods are great
