no i mean,i wish there were more icons like this for weapon pack mods such as tactapack, classic fallout weapons or supplementary weapon packs, sorry jesus i explained it poorly.
great mod, but do you got any plans for making a tutorial on how to make your own custom icons for the mod? cant expect you to do every weapon mod out there.
I love your mod, but it's incompatible with the weapon wheel of just assorted mods. I can't setup the weapon wheel, and when I use it, I lose the crossairs provided by the mod. I tried using the patch but it doesn't do anything. I tried putting your mod first on the order list. Also didn't do anything. Is this intended behavior? Thanks.
I am not sure what is wrong but i followed everything, downloaded all requirements and the icons still don't show up for the Weapons Hweel mod. I had the load order like this in case it could be the issue Consistent Pip-Boy Icons v5 - Framework Plugin Just Weapon Hweel Weapons Hotkey Icons and the compability patch installed
I'm really new to modding and Fallout and am unsure if I need to do something additional for the icons to show in my pip-boy. I have the framework installed and several of your icon mods but they aren't changing in the pip-boy.
This mod in particular doesn't show up in Pip-Boy, but rather in your Favorites Menu as you hold in one of the hotkeys. It also supports other mods that have different kind of favorites menu.
If you still can't see it, try making sure that these are on the latest version:
OMG I didn't know there was a Favorites menu...this is me facepalming. OK so is there something you recommend (one of your mods maybe) that replaces the Pip-Boy hot-keyed items? I use JAM and UIO fwiw.
I have most of your icon mods and the Consistent Pip-Boy Icons V5 - Framework Plugin
Clean Vanilla Hud (another mod of mine) covers some hotkey icons!
Don't worry about noticing the "Favorites"/"Hotkey" menu, It's a nieche part of the hud! This mod is based on cut content from Fallout 3 where AFAIK Weapons would have had unique popups and hotkeys icons.
This was probably cut because of time constraints along with how nieche it actually is. Though that is purely speculation on my part.
I like, and wanted a way to see the entire weapon icon, and wished to have the cut feature implemented back, so I drew every single weapon in Fallout 3 and New Vegas in that style.
I want to thank you for this mod. It's such a minor part of the ui in the game, something you barely see, but the category of icon is such a useful format and style (lack of vault boy) that I've made it so my patch for B42 quick throw will use these hotkey icons for the grenade ui element, and it fits very well. It's all dynamic, and uses the same functions from ShowOff. https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/77674 I'm sure there are many more potential uses for hotkey icons in other mods to come.

You can see evidence of it here:
