It is an issue when using/updating the iron sights aligned mod, I have the same thing every time I update that mod specifically. You will have to manually adjust it using the in-game B42 Optics and ISControl configurator. The details for this are on their respective mod pages.
Thank you very much for creating this compatibility patch, the DKS & Friends rifles all look amazing, so it's nice to be able to use the with the best optics mod out there. Hope someday you might add Christine's COS rifle to the patch. Maybe using one of the new scopes from this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/81970 would help?
Those reticles are dope, but the one for Christine's COS using the DKS and Friends textures is quite square so one would need to make such a reticle/mesh window.
